Liam's POV
"Thank you again for helping me, you're a lifesaver," I sigh and laugh, setting a handful of bags on my bed. "It's all good," (Y/N) laughs, sitting down on the bed. I smile and watch her look through the bags. "Did we seriously buy all of this?" She asks, looking up at me and laughs again. I laugh back and nod. "Yeah, I guess we did." I sit down next to her and plug in my phone. "Do you want to help me wrap some of these now?" I ask her, remembering where the wrapping paper was. "Sure," she smiles and stands up, heading to the door.

"No, you're wrapping it wrong!" (Y/N) laughs at my bad tapping. I roll my eyes and laugh along with her, letting her take the gift from me. "Okay, so you put tape here," she watches me to make sure I'm looking, "and stick it there," she says in a way a baby should understand. I roll my eyes again and do what she says. "Good job," she giggles and puts a name tag on top of the box. I find a bow and stick it on near the tag. "Four down, who knows how many more to go," she says, setting the box on the floor by the others near my closest. "Okay, let's do this," I say, grabbing the wrapping paper again.

An hour later, all the gifts for my family were wrapped or bagged. It had taken longer because of (Y/N) laughing at my wrapping job multiple times and making me start over. We had a great time doing that, just the two of us. Now that we were done, we carried the gifts downstairs and spread them out under the tree. "Wow," (Y/N) says, sliding a box underneath. "What?" I ask her, watching her look at the tree. "It's already that time of year again," she answers, looking back at me. "Yeah, time sure flies by fast," I say, grabbing her hand. She looks down at our entwined hands and grins.

"Thanks again for helping me today," I start to move my thumb around her hand. She laughs quietly and looks back at me. "No problem," she closes the gap between us. "Just promise me we won't buy each other things," she says, staring right at me. "Sorry, but I can't make that promise," I smile.

"Why not?" She cocks her head. "Well, because I have already gotten you a few things." "Liam!" I chuckle and smile again. "Sorry babe, but no can do." "Hey, no 'babe' until-" "Until I ask you out, got it," I smirk. She rolls her eyes and sighs. "Fine, I guess the few gifts I already got you can stay." "You got me something? I ask, surprised. "Yeah," she says, wondering about the shock in my eyes, "why wouldn't I?"

"I wasn't sure if you wanted to," I answer, still shocked. "Liam, you admitted you have already gotten me a few things, and I did the same, so it's fine. You and I both know where our relationship is going." "Yes, I do," I smile, pulling her close and kissing her forehead.
