Your POV

Christmas and New Years pass and now school was back in session. Liam was going to pick me up before school. As I head downstairs, my phone goes off. I check my texts and see I had one from Liam. I smile and open it.

Liam: Good morning. I hope you slept well. I'll be there to pick you up in about ten minutes :)

I smile again. He was too cute.

Me: Good morning. I think I did. Okay :)

Liam: I shouldn't be texting while driving, so I'll see you soon :)

Ten minutes later, his car pulls into my driveway. I get up from the couch and put on my coat. Liam knocks on the door and I open it. "Hey," he says, smiling. "Hey," I say, grabbing my keys and backpack. I lock the door behind me and follow him to the car. He opens my door as usual and closes it when I'm in. He comes around the car and gets in, starting the engine again. "Are you excited to go back to school?" "Ha, you're funny." "I know I am," he grins and starts to pull onto the street. "Well, it's good to get back to studying and all, but it was nice to get away from it all for a while." "Yeah, I agree," he says, making a turn at a stop sign.

Lunch takes a while to come. I was still getting use to being back and occasionally yawning. Liam walks with me to our table and sits down. I sit down next to him and start pulling out my lunch. He had brought his own like he sometimes does. "So, are we going to ask them about our idea?" "Andi and Harry?" I ask, watching Liam pull out a yogurt. "Yeah, our double date idea," he grins, opening the yogurt. "We should, we need to get those two talking more," I say, looking up and seeing the lovebirds heading our way.

"Hey," they both say, sitting down across from us. "Hi," I say, seeing Liam nod as he swallows. "So, we had an idea," I take a sip of my water. "Which is?" Harry asks, picking up his sandwich. "We were thinking of doing a double date." "A what?" Andi asks, almost choking on her drink. "A double date, since you two are getting closer-" "No, absolutely not," Andi says, shaking her head. The three of us look at her. "Why not?" Harry asks, watching her. "I just don't think that would be the best idea...," she says, looking down at her grapes. "Andi, c'mon, it'll be fun," I tell her, feeling Liam glancing my way.

"How?" She looks up a moment later. "C'mon, these boys are the sweetest ones we know, nothing bad is going to happen." I glance at Liam and see him grin. "Uh...," she thinks, "dammit, you're right. Fine, I'll do it." "Really?" Harry asks, excitement filling his eyes. Liam and I laugh and continue eating. "So, what is this double date?" Andi asks a few minutes later. "We were thinking maybe dinner and a movie or whatever you two suggest," Liam answers. "I think dinner and a movie will work," Harry smiles. "Yeah," Andi nods. "Good, so that's settled," I say, grinning.

Andi: When's the double date?

Me: This Friday at 6. Li and I can pick you two up or maybe Harry wants to bring you himself?

Andi: Okay. Yeah, he suggested meeting you two at the restaurant. Which restaurant?

Me: Which one do you think?

Andi: OLIVE GARDEN?!

Me: Yes XD

Andi: YES!!!!

Me: XD Well Li is over to work on anatomy, so I'll text you later.

Andi: Oooooo! Have fun ;)

Me: Oh shut up, go talk to Harry. ;)

Andi: Ugh!

"So," Liam says, writing out another flashcard. "So what?" I grin, finishing one of my flashcards. "Do you think Friday will work?" "I think it will. Why?" I set the card into my pile next to Liam's. "I'm just not sure if they'll get closer from it, you know?" "Yeah, I get what you mean." "Like, I know they're crazy about each other, but they won't show it sometimes." "Yeah," I say, setting my colored pen down and look at him. He finishes the card in his hand and sets it down.
"I still need to finalize my plan." "Plan- Oh, thaaat. Li, you don't have to tell me about that," I chuckle and lightly hit his arm. "Ow," he fake pouts and laughs. "Oops, I shouldn't have done that...," he looks towards the TV.

"Are you sad the football season is over, well yours?" I ask after a few minutes of silence. "Eh, it can be stressful sometimes," he looks at me. "Are you sad your soccer season is finished?" "Oh hell no, I hated it after a while." We both laugh and go back to the silence. After another few minutes, Liam speaks up.

"Do you still get bullied?" My mind automatically goes back to a few times Kelsie messed with me. My mind then goes to the thought of how Liam came after me the first time he witnessed Kelsie's shit. "No, she hasn't done anything recently," I lie. "(Y/N), I can read you like a book, tell me." I look into his eyes and notice all of the concern. I sigh and lean onto him. "She's been walking past me in the hallways sometimes and gives me death glares. Sometimes it's just that, but just before third hour, she was laughing with her group of friends and looked at me the whole time. She hasn't done anything really physical for a while, but she still does that crap."

"(Y/N), we'll get through this together. You know how I feel about her bullying you and it hurts me to see you like this. Please let me help. I know you've been telling me to let you handle it, but I think I can help." "I know, Liam, but...," I sigh again. "I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't know what you could do either." "I may be able to come up with something." "Like what?" "I think since you're not doing soccer in the spring or next school year, that will help a lot. I could talk to her, but that may just make things more complicated, like her making more moves on me. I could say asking you out officially will make a difference, but we both don't know how that will help." He sighs then. "Yeah, I don't know," I sigh once again. "But we'll get through this, together, (Y/N)." I smile and look at him again. "I know."
