Liam's POV
I pull into the parking lot of a fancy Italian restaurant and stop the engine. "Woah," (Y/N) says, glancing at the building. I smile and get out of the car, going around and opening her car. I offer my hand. She smiles and accepts it. After closing the door and locking the car, I begin to lead her towards the entrance. We get inside and take in the view. "Liam, this place looks too fancy." "I know, but it'll be worth it," I reassure her, leading her to the hostess."Good evening, just two of you?" The hostess says, grinning. "Yes," I grin. The hostess nods and grabs two menus, gesturing us to follow. We get led to a table in the back and sit down. "What would you like to drink?" "Water please," (Y/N) says. "Water for me too, please," I answer. "Okay, those will be right out. Max will be your waiter this evening," the hostess tells us, heading off towards the kitchen.
"This place looks expensive, Liam." I grin. "I know, but I got it covered." She doesn't answer, instead picking up her menu and begins scanning it. I do the same and continue doing that until our drinks arrive. "Here you go," the hostess says, handing us our waters. "Thank you," I say, giving a small grin. The hostess nods and heads in the opposite direction once again.
"So, do you have any idea of what you want?" I ask (Y/N) a couple minutes later. I still had no idea what sounded good to me. "Not yet. You?" "Same here." We both continue looking for a couple minutes until the waiter arrives. We place our orders then and start a real conversation.
"This is nice, right?" I say to her, noticing her quietness. "Oh, yes, it is," she answers, grinning a little. "What's wrong?" I ask, full of concern. "It's nothing, I'm just thinking about the cost of this dinner." "(Y/N), please don't worry about the cost. That's my job to worry and you should be thinking about other things."
"You're right," she sighs, placing her hand on top of mine. "Thank you for taking me here tonight." I smile. "Oh, this is just the start of the surprise." "Liam!" She laughs a little. I do the same, letting a smile slide in too. We continue talking about random things until Max comes back with our food.

"Damn, that was good food," I say, receiving a laugh from (Y/N). She smiles at me and walks along side me. The night breeze felt good as we continued walking to the car. I open the passenger and close it after she gets in. Getting in on my side and buckling up, I start the engine and turn the radio on. "What are we doing now?" She asks, playing with the radio. I smile and pull out of the parking spot. "You'll see." I laugh as her whine and smile. Behind that smile, I hid all of my nervousness. I just prayed the night would follow my plans. My nervous thoughts evaporate when I hear a sweet voice singing along with a song. I glance over and smile once again. (Y/N) moves her head with the music. I could tell she didn't care how she looked doing that next to me, causing me to smile a third time. She was amazing, I just hoped she said yes.
