Alicent
Tw: Mentions of rape and abuse.Alicent paced back and forth in Rhaenyra's chambers waiting to be called down to the ball. Her mind kept replaying the moment Rhaenyra had clipped the dragon pin in her hair. It felt as if there were butterflies flying around in her stomach. Yet it did not feel as if she were about to be sick, just nervous, or maybe exited.
She felt it was odd to feel this way after dreading this ball for the greater part of the day. Yet she knew she did not feel this way because of the ball. It was Rhaenyra. She had been making her feel this way for quite some time. At the beginning of their companionship it had felt different, less heavy, yet now Alicent wanted to spend all of her days with Rhaenyra. This could very well be an extension of their friendship, yet Alicent was worried that it might be something more.
"Miss Hightower!" A guard called from outside the chamber, causing Alicent to jump.
Her heels clacked against the concrete as she was lead to the throne hall. Everyone had already been introduced therefore they would all be dining. This provided a nondescript entrance which was just what she had been hoping for. She took a seat on the right of the two tables located on either sides of the hall.
She peered up at the long table at the front of the throne room. She found Rhaenyra sat next to the Lannister boy, who could not even be considered a boy (He was taller than the king and seemed to be growing a beard) and Alicent's father who was but gleaming with joy. The remaining seats on the table were filled by the boy's relatives, the king and queen nowhere to be seen.
A while later Alicent watched as the boy lead an uncooperative Rhaenyra to the floor for the first dance. It was fast paced and lively, yet neither of their faces matched the tone. Rhaenyra's looked unimpressed and the boy was staring straight into Alicent's eyes.
She looked away as quickly as she could, but it was much too late. As she looked back up the boy was staring, still at her, eyes focused. His intentions were clear.
After three songs passed Alicent joined in the dancing. She was helplessly trying to move towards Rhaenyra but she was met with the last person she ever hoped to dance with, the Lannister boy.
"Enjoying yourself, Miss?"
"Quite." Alicent said straining her neck to see where Rhaenyra was.
"Martyn Lannister. And you are?"
Alicent debated using her real name yet decided against it. "Eden Moundberry."
"Beautiful! I love that na-" he was cut off as Alicent was flung into someone else's arms. She considered leaving the hall as she spun three times before she was flung back into Martyn's arms.
"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life." The boy said bringing his face closer to Alicent's. She arched backwards attempting to avoid him which made him advance even more.
"Martyn, please." Alicent squeaked as his grip tightened around her waist; preventing her breathing. "Stop it." He did not listen. "Stop." She squeaked louder.
"Come with me." He said letting her go. She gasped for air yet didn't have time to think before he gripped her wrist and lead her off of the floor and through a dark hallway.
"Where are you taking me Martyn?" Alicent asked. He tightened his grip on her wrist and kept walking. His hand was enormous compared to her wrist. Alicent began to yell. "Martyn." No response. "Martyn!" No response. "Let me go!" No response, he only pushed on further.
He threw her into his chamber and locked the door. They were on one of the highest floors. Nobody would hear her screams.
"You wanted this. Staring at me like that." He said as he turned to her. He was almost as big as the door.
"Please, don't do this. I will tell-"
"Who are you going to tell? Your parents? Your friends? Who are they going to believe? A whore or the future husband of a princess!" He cried advancing forcing Alicent to step backwards until she was up against the window with nowhere else to go.
He put his hand on her neck and began to squeeze. She struggled but there was no use. She accepted her fate.
Her father told her that this would happen to her. Never what the act was but that a man, her husband, would lead her into his chambers and do something. She must be silent and let him do what he wanted.
She closed her eyes and waited, she couldn't stop her weeping. Then she heard a clang and Martyn slumped over on top of her.
Rhaenyra pulled his limp body off of her and Alicent sank to the ground. Raenyra ran to her wrapping her in her arms and wiping away her hair that was sticking to her tear stained face.
"It's alright." Rhaenyra soothed, pulling her head in to her chest.
"Do- do you think I'm a whore?" Alicent sobbed.
"No. I think that he is utterly and absolutely revolting. Come on, up on your feet." Rhaenyra said pulling her up. "Now help me stand him up"
Alicent followed Rhaenyra's directions and together, they propped the Lannister boy up against the window. They then stepped away to asses the situation. But there was no time to even think before Rhaenyra walked to the window and opened it with no hesitation, sending the boy over the edge.
"We must go. No one can see us enter or leave this room. This is a suicide. Nod if you understand."
Alicent nodded as she asked "Where did you learn this?"
"Daemon." She said grabbing Alicent and leading her to the door. "You go first, I'll write a note." Alicent nodded still a bit dazed and stepped out of the chamber only to be grabbed by a hooded figure and lead away from the scene.
The figure pushed her into her own chambers and revealed himself. It was her father.
"What were you thinking girl, if anyone were to find out you will be perceived as a whore! It will ruin you."
"I didn't have a choice Father, he forced me into his chambers!"
"You must've provoked him. There is no other reason why-"
"I did not do anything. I only looked at him for a second whilst watching Rhaenyra!"
"That is enough. It was not my idea to let you attend tonight because I knew you would do something like this! Your mother was the same!"
"What?"
"Enough! You must be punished for your actions." He said pulling off his belt. "You must be held accountable for what you've done."

Alicent kneeled near her mirror and began to pray to the seven. How could she have done this. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were puffy and her hair disheveled. She reached for the dragon hair pin Rhaenyra had given her earlier and found nothing. Her heart dropped. She frantically searched her head for the pin but it wasn't there. The pin that matched Rhaenyra's dress, the pin that the Lannister boy had to have taken.
