Mina is currently in their university's office of the school director. She lazily went there after being paged via the speakers from the busy hallways of the main building.

There is another girl in the room who is wearing a school uniform that is definitely not theirs. The said girl is already smiling at Mina so widely right at the moment she has entered the room.

"Myoi Mina, this is Park Jihyo. She is the council president of the other university that we're doing the joint leadership training. I believe I already briefed you with the purpose of you two meeting today?"

"Ahh. Yes, I remember." Mina softly smiles and slightly nods at their school director.

"Hello, Mina!" Jihyo energetically greets her and stands up to offer Mina a handshake, all the while maintaining her wide smile.

The resident council president reciprocates the smile and gladly shakes the other girl's hand. "Hi, Jihyo. Welcome to our school."

"Jihyo, I will now leave you in Mina's hands." The school director flashes a proud smile. "Don't worry. She is a very responsible, dependable, and smart girl. I think you two would even make good friends."

"Awww. Don't point out my strengths too much, sir." Mina humors while chuckling.

Jihyo also chuckles as she slightly bows to the school director. "Thank you for the guidance, sir. I think we now have to take our leave or else I'm afraid we can't finish our agenda for today."

"You're welcome, Ms. Park. You two can now proceed with your council tasks."

The two council presidents smiled and bowed one last time to the school director before energetically exiting the room.

"Hmm... So where would you want to start?" Mina asks as soon as they step outside of the office.

"Anywhere, actually. Whatever agenda you're comfortable starting with."

"Okay. Then, follow me. I think I just thought of a plan." The resident president flashes her gummy smile as she starts to tread along the hallways.

Jihyo simply grinned and silently followed her.

In just about a minute or two, the two council girls are already in front of the main building. Mina walked some more and led the other girl towards the study table below a huge tree near the open field.

"Let's talk here." Mina flashes her gummy smile as she gestures to Jihyo to sit on the bench opposite of where she sat.

"Wow. The ambiance here is good. Am I about to hear something stressful that's why you brought me here?"

Mina pulls out a notebook and a pen from her bag. "This won't stress you at all... maybe?" She chuckles in teasing.

Jihyo laughed with her. "You seem to be in a good mood today, huh?"

"Why? Were you expecting me to be more gloomy?"

"No, no, no." Jihyo quickly waves her hand in dismissal. "I— Ugh. Me and my slips of the tongue."

Mina simply looked at her in confusion.

"Umm..." Jihyo flashes an awkward smile. "I'm actually acquainted with Chaeyoung."

"Son Chaeyoung? Our soccer team's vice captain?"

Jihyo nods. "Yep. That Son Chaeyoung. So... I might have heard... a bit of her drama with you."

"Ahh." Mina softly smiles. "Don't worry. We're good now."

"Really? She already told you?"

"You... know what she should tell me?"

"Ugh. Park Jihyo!" Jihyo facepalms herself and shakes her head rapidly. "I'm sorry, Mina. Please don't mind me."

Mina faintly smiles. She gives her a look, then nods a couple of times in acknowledgement.

When an awkward silence started to creep into their atmosphere, Jihyo cleared her throat and started another topic. "Anyway! Before we get lost in other unrelated stuff, let's start our discussions about our joint training, shall we? So first up is..." She opens her iPad and begins scanning some of her notes. "I think the number of schools joining the training has increased? There are two more universities joining us."

"Yes. The total number of expected student attendees will be doubled, totaling now to twenty from the previously expected ten." Mina confirms while spinning a pen she was holding. "Now the venue should be much larger than the first one we reserved."

"That's right! We have to—" Jihyo's phone suddenly rings. She quickly looks at its screen to check the caller ID. She then turns to the girl in front of her with an apologetic look. "Sorry, Mina. Excuse me for a while. I have to answer this."

Mina simply smiles and nods.

Jihyo quickly put her phone to her ear to answer. "Hello—"

"JIHYO!" Tzuyu's obviously anxious voice quickly answers on the other line.

"Why? What's wrong? Is there something going on at our school?"

"It's not about school. You know our condominium unit by the nearby mall, right? The one that's just a couple minutes away from the university."

Jihyo instinctively nods, although she is on a phone call. "Yeah, I think I remember that property of yours. Why?"

"It's about Nayeon Unnie. I just found her holed up in here and she's not looking well. She doesn't want to talk to me right now."

The council president's voice is now laced with pure worry. "HUH? Why? What happened?"

"I was about to ask her something about our business matters. However, no matter how many times I tried to call her, she wasn't answering the phone." Tzuyu tried to slowly explain over the phone. "Since I did not return to the mansion yesterday, I wasn't aware of what happened but when I asked the maids from the house, they said that Nayeon Unnie left last night using a cab."

"Did you ask her girlfriend? Maybe she knows what happened."

"I already tried calling Jeongyeon Unnie but she is also unreachable. Her phone seems to even be turned off."

"Tsk. I'm not feeling good about this. Don't tell me something bad happened between the two of them?"

"I'm also not sure yet." The cheer captain's tone started to sound like a kid who is about to cry. "Nayeon Unnie has shut me out of the room. Come here, quickly. I don't think she would listen when it's just me. She looks so pale and out of energy. Jihyo, I am really worried right now."

"Okay, okay. I'll be there in about fifteen minutes."

"Thanks." Tzuyu's letting out a deep sigh is heard over the line. "I will wait for you then. Bye."

"Bye, bye."

Right after the call ended, Jihyo turned to the other council president sitting by the table in front of her, patiently waiting for her call to finish. "Umm... I'm sorry. I have to go. This is something really important."

"No, no. It's okay. We can talk some other time." Mina flashes a genuine smile. "Whatever that call was about... I hope everything will turn out fine on your end."

"Yeah. I really hope everything will be fine."
