Imperfectly Perfect 2

12 : First

Tzuyu carefully carried Sana to the bedroom. She slowly tucked the older girl on the bed, making sure she won't wake her up in the process.

She gazed at the peacefully sleeping girl for about a minute, all the while smiling to herself. Then, she leans in to place a soft kiss on Sana's forehead.

"Good night, Sana." Tzuyu mumbles under her breath before finally walking as softly as she can to exit the bedroom.

Earlier, the two cheer captains watched one more Japanese movie that Sana chose again before the older girl fell asleep while comfortably leaning on Tzuyu's shoulder. When the younger girl decided to transfer Sana to the bedroom, she almost held her breath when she moved just to not wake up the sleeping hamster to her side.

After cleaning the food they left on the living room's table, Tzuyu lied straight on the living room's couch to get some sleep.

However, about half an hour has already passed but she is still tossing and turning. There is surely no sign of her being sleepy with her reddened cheeks.

"Ugh!" Tzuyu suddenly slaps herself twice and lets out a deep sigh as she glances at the partially closed door of the unit's bedroom. "You're driving me insane, Sana."

—— Three hours earlier ——

"Tzu."

"Hmm?" Tzuyu hums without looking at the girl beside her. Her eyes are all glued to the smart TV's screen, oblivious that there is something else currently brewing on Sana's mind.

The vice president did not answer. She has actually been staring at the young cheer captain in almost a daze for minutes now.

When Tzuyu did not hear an answer after a couple of seconds, that is when she turned to look at the girl beside her. "Sana? Why? What is it?"

"Tzu, it's strange. I know you're already pretty but..." Sana smiled astoundingly and looked straight deeply into Tzuyu's eyes. "The faint light of the television makes your face so much more beautiful right now. The city lights seen thru the glass walls on your back puts you in an ethereal scene in my eyes. And to top it all... The thought of being alone with you in a room in the middle of the night makes me want to take you all to myself."

"Sana—"

"We shouldn't have dimmed the lights in this room. It surely wasn't a good idea. They are really not helping my self control right now." Sana's hands are now softly gripping the fabric of her pajamas. She pauses to glance at Tzuyu's lips. "I'm taking back my word, Tzu. I don't want this to be just watching movies on a couch anymore."

"What— What— Sana, what are you—"

"Do you remember what I told you last Sunday?"

"Whi— Which of those?" The younger girl's cheeks are now starting to get flushed. "We had a lot of things that we talked about that time."

"That I won't be stopping the next time until I'm satisfied?" Sana swiftly cupped the younger girl's cheeks. "Chou Tzuyu."

"Wait. Sana—"

"This is going to be that time."

And Sana leaned in to capture Tzuyu in a kiss.

It was a simple, quick, steady kiss that lasted only for about eight seconds.

"Tzu. That one is a very basic, chaste kiss."

Tzuyu is simply blinking her eyes slowly at the seriously looking girl in front of her. She is looking like a lost, innocent child right now. On the contrary though, the blush on her face sells the inner feelings she might have. "Umm— Sana—"
