Chaeyoung leaned back. She looked deeply into the council president's eyes and flashed a sweet smile, fully displaying her dimple. She paused for a moment, wanting to take in and savor the view of the girl in front of her like it is the most beautiful scenery her eyes have ever laid on. She spoke like she was presently in daydream.

"I love you."

Mina faintly giggled at the slightly blushing girl in front of her, finding it adorable how Chaeyoung is oddly looking a bit shy right now. She stares back onto the soccer ace's eyes, feeling lost in the moment. She then flashes her gummy smile and casually replies in a way like it has always been the most normal thing she does whenever the smaller girl tells her those three words.

"I love you, too."

The next second was full of silence.

And nothing was still heard the second after that.

Counting a couple more seconds, both of the girls' eyes are now slowly blinking and widening at the same time. They are clearly shocked by those last four words that were uttered in between the two of them, even including Mina who was clearly the one who actually said it.

Chaeyoung then slowly raises her arm to point a finger to the council president. "DID— MINARI, DID YOU JUST—"

"It— it was just the spur of the moment!" Mina immediately defends.

"What?" The smaller girl dramatically holds her chest, trying to act hurt. "So you don't love me too?"

"Of course, I love you too!"

The soccer ace gives a smug look. "See—"

"I mean—"

"Myoi Mina finally said that she loves me too!" Chaeyoung suddenly yells inside the council office like an excited kid.

"Son Chaeyoung!" Mina quickly hits her arms again. "Hey! Stop yelling—"

Chaeyoung stares at her with almost twinkling eyes. "Say it again."

"N— No!"

The two of them looked at each other challengingly for a moment, like in a silent battle.

"Minari—"

"NO."

Chaeyoung abruptly leaned to Mina's direction and stopped right in front of the other girl's face. "I'm going to steal a kiss again if you— AHH."

The council president pinched her side, this time not holding back unlike her earlier hits to the soccer ace's arms. "Deserved."

"Ugh! Minariiii—"

"Oh!" The door to the room suddenly opened abruptly, with Sana entering first. "Someone uninvited is here."

"Ugh." Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. "Seriously, why do you always have to arrive at the exact time and ruin it?"

"What are you talking about?" Dahyun also enters the room and closes the door. "Pres, don't tell me you two are—"

"CHAENG." Mina suddenly calls out loudly in almost a yell, deliberately ending whatever conversation was previously ongoing.

"Hmm? What is it?"

"I think you should start to get going."

"Ahh." The soccer ace slumps her shoulders down. "That's right."

"Hey." The council president softly reaches out for Chaeyoung's wrist. "If... anything serious comes up or you'd need someone for something..." Mina looks at her with worry. "message me, or call me, or—"

"I will, Minari. Don't worry too much, okay?" Chaeyoung flashes a knowing smile. She leaned closer to Mina's ears and whispered. "I love you, Minari. So much."

The soccer ace then leans back again and speaks in her normal voice. "I'll always update you on what's happening to me every single time I can, okay?"

Mina energetically nodded in a wide smile. She and Chaeyoung looked at each other for a moment like Sana and Dahyun didn't just arrive in the room.

Then, the cheer captain loudly clears her throat while crossing her arms in front of her.

Mina promptly laughs awkwardly. "Umm... Good luck on the dinner!"

"Yeah." Chaeyoung rolls her eyes. "That's about the right term to say to me right now."

"You should really start to get going now."

"Bye, Minari!" The soccer ace started walking towards the room's exit, waving hands to the two other council members on her way out. "See you girls around!"

Dahyun cheerfully replied to her. "Bye, Chaeyoung!"

Sana simply scoffed and nodded, lethargically waving back. She consecutively walked right towards the table where Mina is. "Seriously, Myoi Mina?"

"What?" The council president squints at her. "Wait. You're talking to me now?"

Last night, when Dahyun left their room in the middle of their skirmish, they simply decided to ignore each other for the rest of the evening.

Sana scoffed again and shook her head, looking displeased. She then leans in to lower her voice and whisper to Mina, avoiding Dahyun to overhear them. "Good luck on your dinner? Is that the best you've got to tell Chaeyoung about her upcoming date with her fiancée which turns out to be MY Tzuyu?"

The council president glances at their secretary and awkwardly smiles at her. She then answers her best friend in a whisper. "Then what do you want me to do? Perhaps we could start with the actual talking of what happened between you and Tzuyu last night so that I could have the slightest idea of why you are behaving like this?"

The cheer captain lets out a sigh. She also glances at Dahyun who is now seated on the room's couch, booting her laptop on. Then, Sana lets out another deeper sigh. Without saying anything further to Mina, she started walking towards the council treasurer's direction.

"Ugh!" The council president loudly scoffed, wanting her best friend to hear her, not caring now if Dahyun could hear her. "Seriously, Minatozaki Sana?"

The council secretary looks at the two other girls with her in the room and awkwardly laughs. "Umm... Do you... want me to go out somewhere? I can—"

Sana quickly answered, seated beside her on the couch. "NO. Stay right where you are."

Dahyun just continued to flash an awkward smile, glancing at Mina like she is torn on what to do and asking for some help.

Mina rolls her eyes again. She then lets out a sigh of defeat. She put the pen she was holding down with force and walked towards the couch also where the two other girls are now.

The cheer captain raised an eyebrow at her best friend. "What?"

The council president flatly states. "We need to talk, Minatozaki Sana."

"There's an unregistered party being thrown tonight at the mock hotel." Sana looks at her best friend challengingly. "It will be hosted by the track team this time. I'll be there tonight no matter what you say, so I don't think we have time—"

"Then, I'll go with you there."

Dahyun shot her eyes to Mina, looking shocked while Sana simply stifled a faint smirk.

The cheer captain clears her throat. "Okay. It's the notorious Valentine's party of the university so I was planning on drinking everything offered to me for the first time. Maybe you could be my guardian and take me home when I black out."

"What?" The council secretary seriously looked at Sana. "Hey, Minatozaki Sana! That's not a good—"

"Good. That way I can just drag you out from that place stinking with alcohol and hormonal kids peacefully." The council president flashes a fake smile. "Your unconscious self is way easier to deal with anyway."

"Ugh! Seriously?" Dahyun facepalms herself and whines. "I hope you girls sort this out real soon. I'm not sure how long I can keep up with you when you two act like immature teenagers!"
