Matty's POV

Taylor makes excellent hot chocolates, I'm almost certain she added Bailey's. I laugh to myself stroking her long hair back as she sleeps, we've been watching a movie on the flatscreen in front of the fire and having given up on the action of the film she has fallen to sleep, her head in my chest.

I watch as the fire dies, each flame getting smaller and smaller until it completely dissipates. I had a feeling Ross would try again sooner or later. I can't really be annoyed at him, she's worth the trouble. But to tell her that he loves her, the guy means business. I'm in trouble. Yet again, even with a ring on her wedding finger they're not prepared to quit winning her affections.

I hold onto her hand with my engagement ring on remembering a message I received earlier from my sister. Kim is hosting a fashion event at our university on Friday. She would like Taylor to be her main model in it, my sister loves her. Just like everybody else around her.

The event will open up freshers, a full on runway show which Kim has promised me will be as tasteful and elegant as possible despite the theme being Victoria's Secret angels. I sigh imagining Taylor walking the runway in front of every single male at our university. Including Jay and Ross.

"Matty" Taylor whispers her arms reaching out for me.

"Right here" I whisper down to her.

"Want me to carry you" I ask her, softly.

"Yes" she mumbles sleepily and I pick her up cradling her in my arms before taking her upstairs to our room. Depositing her onto the bed, she chuckles as I help her out of my jumper and pull my own clothes off. Looking down at her I can't resist but to climb on top of her, holding my body weight over her. Embracing her and placing kisses all over her chest and lips. She puts her arms around me as I settle for laying down next to her in the way we always sleep together.

My heart plummeted when she told me that Ross admitted he loves her today. Obviously I know that he does, but she didn't. Until now. If I lose her, would I be able to stand him being all over her in front of me? Most probably not.

I stroke her hair back as she leans in closer to me. Just as I'm falling asleep, her phone bleeps on the bedside table and I glance over at it. I chuckle slightly seeing that notification is from Gilbert Scott, laughing at the fact that she hasn't saved his number as Jay. Yet another problem for me to contend with, I consider pulling my phone out and dialling him up right this very minute. Taylor holds onto me her arms around my waist and I sink down into the bed with her extinguishing my anger instantly at him messaging her.

This is not typical Jay behaviour, and quite honestly it's worrying me. He usually tries, and yes he is persistent. But if that doesn't work after a while he just finds another girl. Moreover he has never let me pin him like that over any girl and get away with it. Usually he would fight me back.

"Matty, go to sleep" Taylor says half asleep herself.

"How do you always know when I'm thinking instead of sleeping" I ask.

"Shhh" she tells me stroking my hair back.

She kisses me sweetly on the lips. I always want more of her. I kiss her back. Massaging her as she smiles kissing me again.

"I can feel you thinking about stuff. And that doesn't make any sense but I just know" she tells me laughing to herself.

We're quiet for a minute, I watch her chest rise and fall her breathing getting deeper.

"Taylor, I love you more than anything" I tell her. Suddenly feeling so vulnerable.

"Shh. I love you too" she says sleepily.

I pull her in close again intent on keeping her in my arms forever.
