Taylor's POV
Eyes that are cool and blue, eyes that like an ocean you could either drown in or simply float off into paradise. I gaze into those eyes briefly, wondering whether I will float or whether he will pull me under.
"It's what you would expect" he says to me softly, his lips on my ear as we walk through a dense forest. I gaze up at him and then ahead, a large bear. My fight or flight kicks in and his hands steady me before I run in the opposite direction.
"No running" he whispers.
"No noise he hasn't seen us" he says pulling me into his chest. Facing his chest, hearing the grunts of the bear and the solid rhythm of his heart.
"Jay" I say softly.
"Taylor, I got you. Always" he replies softly. Gazing up into his eyes, I float away with him.

I jolt awake in the morning, not recognising my surroundings entirely yet terribly grateful that I'm not being faced with a huge black bear. Staring briefly at the beige ceiling, realising I had kicked my blanket off in the night. Matthew is asleep next to me in his recliner, His brunette hair falling around his face. Briefly watching the steady rise and fall of his bare chest, I regulate my breathing to his before I kiss him lightly on his lips. I pull my shirt back down over my hips and swivel myself out of my recliner remembering the accident, everything.
Upon observing that Ross is asleep and that his machine is stable I decide there is no need to worry. Satisfied, I yawn and stretch out. Jay catches my eye from his chair, he's awake and I briefly wonder if he's been asleep at all. I pull my shirt down feeling self conscious in front of him. Eyeing him and remembering my dream instantly, I blush just sure that my cheeks are crimson. He watches me intently, and feeling self conscious I pull my shirt down as low as it will go to cover myself up.
Pacing over to the window, behind Jay, I glance at the settled snow and smile. It reminds me of a Christmas film, except ours would be one where I end up in hospital with three men. Laughing, I look down at Jay.
"What's so funny" he asks me softly, eyeing me with curiosity.
"Who knows, I think I'm in shock still" I laugh as I walk into the en-suite and brush my teeth. Tie my hair up with Jay's eyes keenly watching my every move. I catch him looking at my thighs, as I pull on a pair of jeans that Matthew had brought over. He see's me and quickly looks away. Perhaps Gilbert Scott is in shock too, I think idly as normally he would made a snide comment.
"You okay?" I ask stroking Ross' face as he jolts awake coughing and spluttering.
"So fucking painful. My leg" he says almost to himself, his eyes closed as he winces.
"Hi, good morning" He chuckles opening his eyes and staring into my own.
"Hi yourself, good morning" I smile back.
"You mind if I check it out" I ask him. He grins at me cheekily and I shh him, his blonde hair ruffled, I have to admit his bed head is very cute.
"You really shouldn't say stuff like that to me first thing in the morning. I'll have no idea what you're referring to" he laughs.
