Taylors POV
Scattered seating like loveseats and velvet chairs surround an open fire just over from the large modern kitchen. A dangling chandelier illuminates the room and I smile slightly as I walk over to the others, I stand next to Jay. I glance up at him and smile as Rachel is in full swing, downing drinks. He rubs my arm with his thumb, his fingers going over my wrist before pulling away and then giving me a bit of space. Clearing his throat and standing just slightly away from me.
"Hey, I forgot your drink, I'm sorry" Rach says to Jay stumbling over to us, he steadies her on her approach and we all take a seat. Rachel perched on his knee, I sit down beside him on a navy blue velvet sofa. Matthew comes to join us with my drink.
"Taylor made me one" Jay replies to Rachel and she rolls her eyes.
The bottle spins on the marble table and I shift in my seat, Jay rests his gaze on me and rolls his eyes.
"You're such a fidget" he laughs and I swat him. He grasps my hand and tickles me as I giggle. The bottle lands on Matthew. Rachel spins it again smiling over at me. It lands on another girl that I don't know. She's not attractive, Jealous pot that I am, I inspect her blonde hair and green eyes.
"Matty" she says by way of greeting him. I grow annoyed that she knows him and I don't know her, call me petty. I turn to Jay, tipsily and he appraises my lips.
"Who's that?" I ask him, quietly as Matthew stands to give mystery blonde girl a kiss.
"Not a clue" he faces me, his lips close to mine, he lingers and I pull myself away to watch, taking a sip of my cocktail as Matthew kisses her on the cheek. Unbuttoning his shirt as he returns and letting it hang open. My hand invades his body instantly and I know it's clingy, but I can't help it.
"Who's that?" I ask Matty openly as he stares down at me tipsily. He shrugs and I giggle as he kisses my neck lightly.
"I think she's in my media lecture" he adds.
"Matty, you need to take a shot" Rach directs him as he picks up a red plastic cup and downs it grimacing as he does. I lean onto his chest and he puts his arms around me, comfortably.
"Rachel, would you like to make some more cocktails" I ask her over Jay's lap.
"Definitely" she laughs over at me, bumbling around with the bottle.
"But first it's your go" she says pointing to the bottle.
"Okay but I can't take anything off" I explain laughing as the bottle points at me. She spins it again hushing me and it settles on Ryan. Stepping around the marble table in my louboutins I bend to give him a kiss as he lounges in his chair. He holds onto my waist briefly before I pull away.
"Getting you a drink, I promised I would be feeding you brandy" I laugh bending over Matthew as he watches my chest avidly. He nods and kisses me slowly before I strut myself over to the bar through the archway and over to the double doors.
Standing in the bar, I notice the brandy bottle is empty and so I grab a second one. I pour some into Matthew's glass and hum along to the song, feeling Gilbert Scott's stare before he laughs at the doorway.
"Ohh shh" I tell him over my shoulder.
"What's your problem anyways?" I ask him taking his glass and filling it up.
