I clicked off the television.

Scott had just broadcasted to the world his plans. He was ready for war. And so were we. Although the way Phoenix, as Scott had called her, stared through the screen at me was unsettling. Everything about her was unsettling but that was particularly unsettling.

Gem was with me. We were planning our attack on Rivendale.

"Well, that changes a lot." Gem sighed and crossed out our plan to sneak in and take the kingdom down from the inside. But I wasn't focused on that.

"What type of nickname is Phoenix?" I asked myself, resting my chin in my hands. Gem dropped her pen and gave me a look that said, 'seriously?'

"It's not a nickname." She said. "It's her birth name. She was given the name Erin when she was adopted into Eastvale. I didn't know she went by Phoenix now..."

"Huh..."

"Fwhip, focus!" Gem said and snapped her fingers in my face. "How are we going to do this?"

"Why don't we just march all 11 of our armies down to Rivendale?" I said. "How many of us are there again? I know the Grimlands have an army of round 20k."

"Well... the Crystal Cliffs is a peaceful empire...we only have five thousand..." Gem said. "Mythland has twenty-two thousand. Mezalea has fifteen thousand along with three thousand cloned soldiers. The Ocean Empire has ten thousand, same with the Cod Empire. The Overgrown has three thousand. Pixandria has thirteen thousand. Since Gilded Helianthia is so small it has one thousand soldiers. The Lost Empire has twelve thousand and the Undergrove has none... So, all in all we have approximately an army of one hundred fourteen thousand."

"Wow you did that off the top of your head? Jeez... What about the Elven Empire? How many do they have?" I asked.

"I don't know. They've always kept their political and military decisions under wraps." Gem sighed. "But I highly doubt its more than twenty thousand."

"So, its 5 to 1." I shrugged. "Easy we march in take the city, imprison the Majors and boom. War over."

"It's not that easy-" Gem started.

"Yes, it is. I'll message the others to start marching to Rivendale. It'll take a few days for Pixandria to get here but we'll have Smajor cornered by Friday."

Gem bit her lip. "This is all going to go wrong." She said and rested her face in her hands.

"No, it's not." I said. "Plus, we've already proven your judgement is no good. Inviting Scott Pfft. I'm already planning Phoenix's execution..."

"Execution?" Gem asked and her head snapped up.

"That girl is a loose cannon. Better to get rid of her than to risk her breaking out of prison. Again." I said while examining my fingernails.

Gem didn't answer, but she did plan out our attack. "Alright...time to end another war." She sighed.
