BEEP!

Ugh

BEEP!

Shut up

BEEP!

Leave me alone

BEEP

Oh shit...

Jenna Henderson sprang out of her bed, quickly realizing that the annoying beeping was just her alarm clock which was just waking her up from her nap so she could go pick up her little brother, Dustin, and one of his friends, Will Byers, from a DND campaign at the Wheeler household. She was ready to leave the house, but looked down and saw that she was in just her sports bra and jeans. She quickly threw on an old Queen tshirt, red zip up, and a pair of combat boots before sprinting out the door, tripping on the door frame in the process.
"Fuck..." She winced and gave herself a once over.
No blood, okay... I'll definitely be feeling that later, though.

She picked herself back up and made her way towards her car. Once in her blue '73 Camaro, she put in one of the mixtapes that one of her best friends, Jonathan Byers, made her for her birthday. Should I Stay or Should I Go blasted through the speakers as Jenna drove down the road to the Wheeler's. Once there, she parked her car in the driveway and marched up the sidewalk to the front door, still in pain and half asleep. After a loud yawn and a quick eye rub, she rang the doorbell.
RIIIIING!!!!

She heard muffled footsteps on the other side making their way over to the door. The door opened to reveal Karen Wheeler with an exhausted smile and a messy apron on.
"Hello Jenna," She greeted, "I'm guessing you're here to pick up Dustin?"
"You'd guess right Mrs. Wheeler," Jenna smiled at her, "I'm also grabbing Will too. Jonathan and Joyce are working tonight plus Will left his bike at my house this morning."
"How sweet of you! Well, you know where they are."

Karen moved out of the doorway so Jenna could slip past her. Before Jenna even reached the door to the basement where the kids always hid away playing DND, she heard enthusiastic screaming from Mike Wheeler creeping up through the floorboards.
"Boom. Boom. BOOM!" He yelled.
Muffled words followed but Mike's voice soon rose again, bellowing:
"The Demogorgon!"

Jenna slowly creaked open the basement door, trying her best not to disturb them. She'd played quite a few campaigns with them over the years, so she knew how ridiculous they could get with people interrupting them.
"Will, your action!" Mike commanded.
"I don't know," Will replied.
"Fireball him!" Exclaimed Lucas Sinclair, another one of the boy's friends.
"You have to roll a 13 or higher," Will groaned.
"Too risky. Cast a protection spell," Jenna's brother tried to reason.
"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas shot back.
"Cast protection," Dustin whined while rolling his eyes.

Mike slammed his hands down on the table, "The demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you! Boom!"
"Fireball him!" Lucas yelled.
"Another stomp, boom!" Mike continued.
"Cast protection," Dustin threw his hands out towards the board.
"He roars in anger!" Mike kept commentating.
Jenna stood on the stairs with her arms crossed over her chest, chuckling to herself as the boys started yelling at one another, fighting over a decision.
"Fireball!" Will yelled, throwing the dice down in front of him.
They clattered to the floor, causing the kids to frantically try and find them.
