It took time, of course. Time for his clan mates to start to wander to the people on the streets. Start a semblance of conversation. For skeletons to come out of the carriages with their young. Papymas were curious and eager to meet the humans and monsters. Brushy brought over the little ones with the help of another clan nursery worker. "Tine..." She paused, trying to pronounce her common. "Diiiiid... yyyyyyou waaant y-yoooourrrr... baaaabiiiieeeessss?" She asked. Papyrus blinked and looked at Sans. Amiri was already getting down from her blaster to collect, though. "uh... yeah, i... kinda became a father recently? to triplets?" Papyrus blinked slowly, looked down at his nieces and nephew, then back to Sans before squealing and dragging him off his blaster to spin him around. "OH MY STARS!!! I AM AN UNCLE! I JUST KNEW YOU TWO WOULD GET TOGETHER!!!" Sans blushed, and Amiri was much the same. *"Even the skeleton raised by monsters seen it coming-"* Brushy laughed. "OH BROTHER, SISTER, COME!" Papyrus gestured beckoning them to follow. "I MUST TAKE YOU TO THE ALLHALLAN DISTRICT!!!" The skeleton's all seemed to peak at Papyrus' words. They had heard Allhalla?

Sans was grateful. The Allhallan district was a very nice mix of cultures, where the apartments kept the skeletons close with a park and gardens in the back to entertain and teach the papymas as they always had in their home. Toriel had her own school to teach common among all the essentials of monster and human society. There were little shops that some skeletons started to set up with whatever was brought from their homeland and that museum? Well, with Amiri's help, all their stories and history were transcribed and reenacted through mannequins. The story of Tine Fraktur had become a quick favorite. Sans couldn't move in with his brother, not with his people still trying to settle in in this new society. Not with the kids, either. There wouldn't have been enough room. But he and Amiri loved to visit. Grillby visited them as well. The Allhallan's were reluctant to have monsters crossing into their district, but they didn't complain. They were understandably weary and would be for a while. Eventually more monsters... more of his friends... would follow suit. And where the monsters went, the humans would eventually follow. Sans would watch, help them adjust. Everything would work out.

Grillby held his youngest granddaughter as little blue flames flickered about her small frame. He had taken a quick liking to Almendra, though he loved all his grandchildren. Sen was playing with Sans' fingers while Unna was chewing on a teething ring, the medallion of Fraktur in her tiny grasp. Amiri rocked their little heir slowly, trying to get her to fall asleep. "Wingdings would have loved them..." the fire monster commented. Amiri looked up to her fire father. "I agree..." She hoped so, anyway. She imagined that if he were here, he would have been head over heels in love with the grandkids. "he would've... he really missed you... loved you. he would have loved them the same..." Sans got up slowly to lay a sleeping Sen down. Amiri smiled sadly and took their word for it. "Thank you both..." She decided to say. Sans came over to take Unna, kissing her teeth as he took the oldest. "May I steal my daughter, Sans?" Grillby asked as Sans took Almendra last. "of course! you two have catching up to do. go, have fun, do whatever it is dad's and daughter's do-" Grillby laughed as he and Amiri went out on the town.

Sans wasn't as alone as he thought. He knew Papyrus and the kid would be there soon to see the sleeping babies, and stay until it was nearly Frisk's bedtime. However, it wasn't them that was with Sans now. The shadow of a monster long since gone approached the crib, although Sans didn't know it. The being smiled a jagged, warm smile at the sleepy trio. "💧︎♋︎■︎⬧︎ ⬥︎♋︎⬧︎ ❒︎♓︎♑︎♒︎⧫︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ " The monster(?) rubbed the closest's skull. "✋︎ ⬥︎♓︎●︎●︎ ◻︎❒︎□︎⧫︎♏︎♍︎⧫︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ♐︎□︎❒︎♏︎❖︎♏︎❒︎📬︎📬︎📬︎" He reassured them softly. He may not have been what he was, but who knew what the future held? As long as the children were safe, there was hope. Hope for him, hope for Sans, his daughter, his clan. At the sound of knocking, Wingdings Gaster receded back into the shadows. Sans went to get the door, pausing momentarily to check on the kids before he let his brother and the kid in.

Sen adjusted his obnoxiously bright teal shirt for his first day of middle school. Being the middle child, he didn't have any responsibilities to uphold like his sister, Unna, nor was he interested in taking over his grandpops bar like Alemendra. He wasn't looking to impress anyone, but the shadows... speaking of... "what do you think, g-pa?" He watched the shadows stir, the eternal being appearing from the dark before he gave the outfit a critical once over and gave a ghostly chuckle and a pat with a free floating hand. "✞︎♏︎❒︎⍓︎ ♍︎❒︎♏︎♋︎⧫︎♓︎❖︎♏︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ♋︎❒︎♏︎ ♋︎ ●︎□︎⧫︎ ●︎♓︎🙵♏︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎❒︎ ♐︎♋︎⧫︎♒︎♏︎❒︎ ♓︎■︎ ⬧︎□︎❍︎♏︎ ⬥︎♋︎⍓︎⬧︎📬︎📬︎📬︎ ⧫︎♒︎□︎◆︎♑︎♒︎ ■︎□︎⬥︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ♋︎❒︎♏︎ 🙰◆︎⬧︎⧫︎ ♌︎♏︎♑︎♑︎♓︎■︎♑︎ ♐︎□︎❒︎ ♋︎⧫︎⧫︎♏︎■︎⧫︎♓︎□︎■︎📬︎" Sen hummed and smirked. "yeah, i guess so. who doesn't like attention though?" Sen asked as he headed out, grabbing his backpack on the way out. G-pa waved as Sen left for school.

I think you can all guess who g-pa is... but this is it... for now. I may write something later on, expanding on Sen and Wingdings relationship, why Sen can see him and all that, but I think that'll be kinda separate from this Skeleton Homeland Series. It will be a sort of spin off, I suppose? Don't expect it anytime soon though, I have a long list of things to write T-T /j. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the end of the series! If you wanna see more, I've started an alternate route to the series in my joint account with Haru_Writes_0
Its not far along yet, only a chapter, really, but I'm working on it! Plus there are other stories there worth checking out! Have a great morning/afternoon/night!
