Sans had answered all the questions he could on the clan and Amiri. He told them about the ringing that had led him home, seeing his mother/grandmother figure for the last time and doing the life ceremony for her. Meeting the others and taking over temporarily as their leader. He told the others how his blaster found Papyrus and brought him home and the party and taming Champion. Finally, he told them about going home and how Amiri wanted to come with him to meet her Fire Elemental father. "That... kinda works out." Sans was immediately suspicious. "meaning?" Alphys and Undyne exchanged looks. "We... kinda showed Grillby his memories and yours, hoping he'd take us to your home clan thing since he'd been there before but he refused to take us-" He facepalmed, confusing Amiri who (naturally) had no idea what they were saying. "allhalla is sacred and grillby knows that. i'm just glad your actions work in our favor this time around..." He sighed heavily and turned to Amiri to explain what was going on. That also meant explaining her father's invention and his intentions for it. Amiri nodded along slowly. She could understand why.

Before they knew it, it was three o'clock and Frisk was getting home. Sans could tell Amiri was nervous to meet the human, given their history with the species, but he believed that things would go decently well. The worst they could do was reset... nothing they hadn't done before. He was fairly sure they wouldn't though, this was something new. They liked new things. Amiri may very well be his savior against the terror of the resets for once. He really didn't intend to use his sister in such a way, but it was, admittedly, a nice little perk to having her around. "I'm not sure I can do this, Sans... it's a human for star's sake..." Sans hugged her and rubbed her back, a slight blush forming on his cheekbones. "they are a mere child... they... i won't let them hurt you..." He promised quietly. Amiri hesitated to hug him back. "... I... I trust you, Sans..." She whispered back quietly. He nodded, lingering a while longer. He didn't want to let go... Amiri didn't want him to. But it had to end eventually. Sans pulled away, taking her hand. "let's go meet that kid..." He led her out of the safety of his bedroom.

Frisk literally gasped when they saw Amiri come in. They'd been shocked enough seeing Papyrus back, Sans too, but seeing Amiri, a Skeleton that was supposed to be dead, they couldn't believe it. "That's... th-that's..." Sans chuckled. "amiri." He said for the kid. Said Skeleton stood behind him, too skittish to move any closer. She did, however, give Frisk a shy wave. Frisk waved back, gawking still. "could you stop staring at her like that? you're making her uncomfortable." He grumbled defensively. This earned a "Oh la la~" from Undyne. "shh- you know we have a bad history with humans-" He snipped, shoving down the blush that threatened to rise in his cheekbones. "What is going on now?" Amiri asked nervously, grabbing his shoulders. "the others are teasing me... amiri, that's frisk the human. frisk, this is amiri. she and a few others survived the massacre... you were right..." He hated to admit it too. It was annoying when they got all- "I knew it! I knew there were other survivors!" -like that. Sans rolled his sockets and turned to inform her of what was going on now. She was pretty quick to frown herself.

Sans had to repeat his story to Frisk. He translated questions between Frisk and Amiri. The kid would not give them space- "i'm seriously sorry about them... if i knew they were gonna be this bad, i would've kept you hidden..."
"The fault isn't yours, Sans. They are a child. Children are like that. Don't know the meaning of personal space..." Sans chuckled in amusement. "yeah, true. that goes double for frisk." She grinned. "At least they can't understand our tongue." His smile widened. "heh, that is so relievingly true. they can never learn it either, which is a bonus." They high-fived at the small achievement. Skeletons for the win for once in Sans long life! "Hey, what's going on?" Frisk whined. "skeleton stuff. humans wouldn't understand." Sans replied with a straight face. Frisk pouted a little at that. "I'm sure I could understand if you explained it to me!" Toriel finally seemed to decide enough was enough and ushered them away. "Come my child, you have homework you must complete, do you not?" They sighed heavily. "Yes, mom..."
"thanks tori..."
"Thank you, Tine Toriel!" Sans shook his head. It would take a while to break her from that-⚜️⚜️⚜️
Finally, they regained some alone time. "i guess... after you meet grillby... you're going back, huh?" Amiri nodded, a slight frown. "I don't have to go alone... you can still come with me..." Sans shook his head immediately. "i can't leave him, miri, he is my world..." She quickly took Sans hands. "The clan was your world- truth is, I don't want to part from you... after all these years... I want you at my side, Sans..." He gulped and turned his head away, squeezing her hands gently. "please... please don't make this harder on me... i-i care about you, amiri... but i can't go back... i know you will take good care of everyone in my stead..." She lowered her head. "I... see... You are too stubborn for me to convince... I will take good care of them for you, ok? And you can always come back... the doors are open, Sans..." He smiled sadly and stood up. "let's go meet him then, huh? we can't keep the clan waiting..." She nodded her agreement, standing as well.
