I can feel fear starting to grow within me. My body starts to shake lightly, as I try my best to keep calm. But it seems almost impossible to be calm when these people are surrounding me. What should I do now?

Y/N P.O.V

I keep my head down as they surrounds me. "Hey, hey... why so nervous? It's not like we're going to hurt you. We only want to have a little fun" one of them said. I just stayed silent. I start to feel a little suffocated from the fear that's starting to get too much for me.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" Someone yelled out. I lift my head a little to see a boy with brown hair. "Well, if it isn't Hanasaki. Just walk away. This doesn't concern you" the boy said. Hanasaki just glares at him.

"It does concern me if you go around bothering new students. Seriously, leave her alone!" He said. The boys just stares at each other. They just shrugs their shoulders and walks away, leaving me alone. I heave out a sigh of relief, feeling relieved that those people didn't surrounds me anymore.

Hanasaki turns to look at me. "Hey, I'm Hanasaki Kensuke. What's your name?" He said, offering a hand to me. I stare at his hand for a few seconds. I slowly lift my hand and shakes it.

"Y/N... L/N Y/N..." I said, in a hushed voice. I can see his eyes widened slightly. "So, you're the girl Sensei's been talking about" He said, moving his hand from mine. I stare at him in confusion.

"Sensei?" I asked. He just smiles at my reaction. "It's what I called Akechi... he's basically like a teacher to me" he said. I just hum softly at what he said. "What subject did he teaches?" I asked. He let out a laugh at what I said.

"Oh, he's not actually a teacher. He teaches me in other things. Actually, I'm in the Boy Detectives' Club. He's the leader..." he said. I just nod my head at what he said.

"Hey, let me see your timetable" he said, lifting his hand. I reach inside my pocket and take it out. I hand it to Hanasaki. He take it from my hand and stare at it.

"Well, it looks like we're going to be classmates. I'm assuming you don't know the way around?" He said, turning to look at me while handing my timetable back. I just nod my head at what he said, because he's right.

He let out a chuckle. "It's okay. Come on... I'll show you the way" he said, signaling me to follow him. He turns around and walks away. I just quietly follows him.

We eventually stops as we stands in front of a class. He turns to look at me. "This is our classroom. Come on..." he said. He turns around and makes his way inside the class. I just silently follows him inside.

I can feel pairs of eyes turning to me as soon as I step a foot inside the classroom. I gulp and look down. I start to feel nervous because of the attention they're giving me.

"Hey, it's alright. No one's going to bother you. They are just curious. It's normal for a new student..." he said. I turn to look at him and just nod my head. He smiles and walks further inside. The seat next to him is empty, so I just sits there.

The teacher eventually enters the classroom. He turn to look at me as if noticing my presence. "Ah... looks like we've got a new face among us. Stand up and introduce yourself to the class" he said. I turn my head to look at Hanasaki. He just smiles at me.

"Go on... it's okay" he said, encouragingly. I let out a shaky breath and stands up. "My name is L/N Y/N" I said, in a soft tone but loud enough for everyone to hear. The teacher nods his head.

"Looks like our new student is a bit shy. So students. Please make sure to make her comfortable, okay?" He said. "Okay!" Everyone said. I just take a seat. I place my hands on the table as I stay silent the whole lesson.

I flinch when the bell rings. Hanasaki stands up from his seat and turn to look at me. He raises an eyebrow when he notice I didn't make a move.

"Aren't you hungry, L/N?" He asked. I just nod my head. He smiles softly at me. "What are you waiting for then? Come on, let's head to the cafeteria and get something to eat" he said.

"What's cafeteria?" I asked. He blinks his eyes at what I just said. "Well, cafeteria is this large space where everyone gathers to eat or just simply hangs out with friends" he said. I tilt my head in confusion.

"And what... is friend?" I said. His eyebrow furrows at what I said. "You're joking... right?" He asked. I just stare at him in the eyes. He let out a sigh and rub his neck.

"Wow... you're being serious. Ah... well, A friend is someone you'd do anything with. Talk, have fun... things like that" he said. I just nod my head at his explanation. I hold my hands together as I shuffle in my feet.

"Are... you my friend?" I asked. Hanasaki let out a chuckle at what I said. "Why... of course. Why else would I help you out? Friend is also someone who'd always have your back no matter what. Now come on... let's head to the cafeteria and have some food" he said. He gently grabs my wrist and pulls me with him. I just follow him, as he leads me through the school's hall way.

Eventually, we reach a large room with lots of tables just like Hanasaki said. I look around the place. I hear a soft chuckle next to me and turn my head to see Hanasaki.

"Where have you been? How come you don't know these kinds of things?" He asked, while chuckling lightly. I just look away from him. "Somewhere... horrible" I said, just loud enough for Hanasaki to hear.

"Oh... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have" he said. I just give him a small smile and shakes my head. "It's okay..." I said. He smiles at me. He gestures me to follow him. He turns around and leads me to the stall. I can see all kinds of food in there.

"Go on... pick anything you want to eat" Hanasaki said. I turn to look at him. I turn to the selection of food in front of me. I've never seen this much food. Back when I was still a prisoner, they only gave me so little. Which barely enough to fill my stomach.

"Hey! Hurry up!! You're holding up the line!!" I hear someone yelled out, angrily. I turn my head to look at the person. It's a girl and she looks mean. I just gulp at the way she stares at me.

"Hey, what are you staring for?? Just choose already, you weirdo!" She said, glaring at me. I flinch at the way she speaks and stares at me. I turn around and runs away.

I runs up the stairs and ended up in a place Nii-Chan told me to be a building's rooftop. I just walk near the fence and take a seat. I lean my back against it, and hugs my knees. I place my chin on my forearm and sighs.

Everything is very overwhelming to me. I've never experience these things and it's all coming to me at once. It's scary... and stressing. I just want to get out of here at this point.
