"I'm sure he'll be fine. He just needed some time. He will come around soon..." he said. I just smile softly at him and nod my head. He places a hand on the side of my head, gently pulling me closer. I place my head back on his shoulder. I turn to look forward. Yeah... hopefully.
-Mysterious Case-
Y/N P.O.V
There have been a case of people's leaked photos. From the angle of those photos, it looks like whoever took the photos are up close. But those people said they didn't notice anyone taking their pictures. Which makes the case even more complicated.
I'm sitting on the couch next to Yoshio. I'm looking at the photos scattered on the table. I pick one to take a closer look. I let out a sigh and run my hand through my hair.
"This doesn't make any sense. This photos are obviously taken from up close. But none of the victims said they notice anyone taking pictures from up close" I said. If only Nii-Chan is here. He would know what to do about this case. But he's not here... ever since what happened with Hanasaki.
I place the photo down and scoot closer to Yoshio, and leans my head on his shoulder. He gently wrap his arm around me. He place his hand on my head, caressing my hair softly.
"If only Hanasaki is here. He would know what to do..." I mumbled. Yoshio hums softly, agreeing with me. "Let's go look for him" he said. I pull away to look at him. He smiles softly at me, suggesting that it's the best option if we want to solve this case. I just nod my head.
He stands up and offers his hand to me. I place my hand on top of his, allowing him to pull me up. We make our way to the door and out of the building, trying to look for our brunette friend.
After a while of searching for him, I finally spot him walking not far from us. "Hanasaki!" I yelled out. He stops walking and turns around to face us. He frowns as he notices me with Yoshio. But he didn't make any move to walk away. I pull Yoshio along with me.
"What do you want?" He asked. I frown at how cold he sounded. But now's not the time to create a problem from it. We need him to help us solve the case. So I decided to let it slide... just this once.
"We need your help, Hanasaki" I said. He scoffs at what I said. "Why me? Don't you have the others? " He asked. I frown even more at the way he's acting. I walk towards him.
"Stop being so childish! Just get over it, will you? Why're you acting like you're the only one hurting. We all have our own pain! Stop being selfish!" I said, in annoyance. He shakes his head at what I said.
"Do you think it's easy, huh? Do you think I can just throw it away?? It's not simple, L/N..." he said. I turn my head to look at Yoshio, to see him looking confused. That's right, he didn't know that Hanasaki confessed his feelings for me.
"What's he talking about?" Yoshio asked. I turn to look at him. Hanasaki turn to him with annoyance showing on his face. "She didn't tell you?" He asked. Yoshio turn to look at me for an explanation. I let out a sigh and run my hand through my hair.
"Hanasaki confessed his feelings for me, Yoshio" I said. He gasp as he stares at me in shock. "Before or after we got together?" He asked. I turn to look at Hanasaki with a pained expression.
"After..." I said. I feel Yoshio's hand that's still holding mine tensing up. He release my hand and steps closer to Hanasaki, grabbing him by his collar. "Yoshio!" I said, trying to get him to stop.
"How dare you, Hanasaki... I thought you were my friend!" He said, glaring angrily at him. I quickly rush over them and hold onto Yoshio's arm. I try to calm him down but he just keeps glaring at Hanasaki. I've never seen Yoshio so angry before.
"Please... don't fight. No matter what happen, Hanasaki is still our friend. Don't let this ruin everything, Yoshio" I said. Yoshio turns his head to look at me. I give him a pleading gaze. He let out a sigh and pushes Hanasaki away, making the taller male stumbles.
"We have a case to solve. The only one who might be able to solve it is you. Are you going to help or not?" He said. Yoshio's voice is a lot calmer. But I still hear the slight anger. I turn to look at Hanasaki. He stares at Yoshio for a few seconds before turning to look at me.
"Help us solve this case, Hanasaki. We need your skill... please? For old time sake..." I said. His eyes soften as he let out a sigh and nod his head at what I said. A smile start to form on my face at his reaction. I walk up to him and pulls him into a hug. "Thank you so much, Hanasaki! I knew we could always count on you!" I said, hugging his torso. He gently wraps his arms around me.
Yoshio P.O.V
Normally, I would be okay if Y/N hugs Hansaki. But now that I knew that he loves her. I feel a little uneasy. I watch in annoyance at how Hanasaki is holding her. He turn to look at me, as if mocking me. I click my tongue as I look away. I trust Y/N... she would never betray me.
Y/N finally pulls away from Hanasaki, and grins at him. I walk up to her and gently hold her hand. Y/N smiles at me. I return the smile and turn to look at Hanasaki. I try my best to hide my annoyance for Y/N's sake. I know that she'd be upset if I got into a fight with Hanasaki. After all, they were best friends before I came into her life.
"Come on... we should go and try to solve this case..." I said. Hanasaki just nods her head. We turn around and head towards one of the location where the leaked photo was taken.
I glance at Hanasaki, to see him staring at Y/N. I look away because I don't want to start fighting. If you think you can steal Y/N from me... then you better forget it, Hanasaki. Because she's mine.
