Nii-Chan gave up his spot to Inoue-Nii because he said he wants to retire and enjoy his life, without having to deal with cases. To which everyone laughs at him, saying that he's just becoming too lazy. I cover my mouth as I let out a soft giggle. I'm so glad that everything works out well in the end.

Y/N P.O.V

When we reach home, Yoshio made sure that I stay rested. He didn't even let me go to the bathroom on my own. He said he wants to make sure I'm fit enough before I walk around without him assisting me. His gestures makes me feel all flustered and shy. But I didn't complain, because I know he's doing all that for my sake. He's only worried for my health.

But today, I managed to convince him to let me go out. I told him that I feel bored having to stay indoor all day. He was hesitant at first, so I decided to be dramatic and acted like I'm suffocated. That I needed fresh air.

Which leads to us right now. We are currently walking by the side roads, hand in hand. I turn my head to look at him and giggles, realizing he's sulking. I give his hand a light squeeze, making him turn to look at me.

"I can't believe I fell for your act..." he said. I laugh at his comment. I lean up and places a soft kiss on his cheek. He wrap his arm around my shoulder in return. "Your act was really spot on. Maybe you should be an actress..." he said.

"You think so?" I asked. He nods his head at what I said. I hum softly and nod my head. "Hmm... maybe I should consider it. Maybe I can land a lead role and act with my fav actor, F/A... oooh... what if I get to act like a couple with him?" I said, purposely trying to irked Yoshio. He may act a little cold, or sometimes even acted like he didn't care about me. But deep down, he's just a jealous bean.

His head turns to look at me so fast, I thought he might've dislocated his joints. "What?? Okay, no... forget what I said. You ARE NOT going to be an actress!" He said. I can see him visibly panicking after hearing what I said.

"Relax, Yoshio... I was only teasing" I said. He pout at what I said and turn his head away from me. I let out a giggle and stops walking. I turn him to face me and gently cups his cheeks. "Sorry" I said, giving him a puppy eyes.

But he still refuses to look at me. I gently wrap my arms around his neck. I playfully start poking his cheek. I can see the corner of his lips twitching a little. He finally rolls his eyes, and pulls me closer.

"You're lucky I love you..." he said. I let out a giggle and nudges his nose against mine. He blushes and buries his face into the crook of my neck. I hug him tighter, pulling him closer.

"Talk about Deja Vu. I feel like I did the same thing when you teases me..." I said, giggling softly. He pulls away to look at me. Eventually he starts to chuckle.

"Looks like the table have turned..." he said. I let out a laugh and nod my head, agreeing with him. He smiles at me. He lift his hand, tucking my hair behind my ear. He slowly leans in, placing his lips against mine in a tender kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back.

I pull away for air and smiles. "I love you, Yoshio..." I said. He smiles lovingly at me. He place a soft kiss on my forehead, leaning his against it afterwards.

"I love you too, Y/N..." he said. I pull away slightly and smiles at him. I notice people walking passes us keeps on staring at Yoshio's feet. From the first day we met, until now... he never wears shoes.

I turn to look at two women as they whispers at each other while staring at Yoshio. I send them a glare, which makes them flinched and speeds away. I turn to look at Yoshio who also notices their stares. He didn't say a thing about their stares. He's probably used to this. But I'm not having it. I my head towards a certain direction. A grin starts to form on my face. I grab Yoshio's hand and start to pull him along with me.

"Woah! Where are you taking me??" He asked, stumbling on his steps. I didn't answer him and just keeps pulling him along. In the end, he just follows along as I lead him to a store. He looks around the store in confusion and turn to look at me. "What are we doing here?" He asked.

"Getting you a pair of shoes!" I exclaimed, excitedly. He frowns at what I said. I grab his hand to pull him along, but he places his free hand on top of mine. I stop walking and turn to look at him.

"Why suddenly? Are you embarrassed walking around me because I'm barefooted? Or was it because of the way they are staring at me?" He asked. I shake my head at what he said. I cup his cheeks softly.

"It's not because of that..." I said. He raise an eyebrow at what I said. I let out a sigh. "Okay well, partly. But I'm mostly worried about you, Yoshio. Remember when you came for me? You had cuts on your feet. Wearing a pair of shoes will help you prevent that" I said.

"But I have my powers... I won't get hurt that easily" he said. I let out a sigh and nod my head. I lower my hand and holds his hand gently. "I don't need new shoes. I'm fine without them. You don't have to waste your money on me..." he added.

"But what happened a while ago is enough to prove that your power don't always work... and it's not a waste of money. So please?" I said, staring at him with a pout. He let out a sigh and nod his head, realizing he can't talk me out of this. I grin happily and starts to pull him along. We start to look at the selections of shoes, trying to pick out the best pair for Yoshio.

I grab one of the shoes and inspect it. I turn my head to look at Yoshio, who's also holding one. I place the one I hold down and make my way towards him.

"Find anything you like?" I asked. He turns to look at me and nods his head. He lift the one he's holding to show it to me. I smile softly, nodding my head. I turn to look at the seller. I ask her to bring a pair with the correct size for Yoshio.

She comes back with the pair and place it down in front of Yoshio. I take a seat next to him as he opens the box. He take it out and put it on. But he seem to struggle in tying the shoelaces. I move to kneel down in front of him. I start showing him the way to tie it properly.

I stand up and offers my hand to him. He grabs my hand, allowing me to pull him to his feet. "Okay. Try to walk" I said. He did as I told. I watch as he walks around and jump a little, which makes me giggle. "Soo~ do you like it?" I asked.

"Yeah... I think these are the one for me" he said. I grin happily at him. I turn to look at the seller. I nod at her, telling her that we'll take these pair. We went to pay for the shoes. I insist that Yoshio wears them right away. He just agrees and we leave the store, hand in hand.

Yoshio turn to look at me as we walk to the park. We walk towards a bench and sits down. "Thank you for these, Y/N..." he said, smiling softly at me. I smile and gently kisses his cheek.

"Of course" I said. He places a soft kiss on my forehead. I lean my head on his shoulder. He places his head on top of mine, making me smile softly. I've said it quite a lot. But I will say it again... I love being this close to him.
