"Tch..." I said, turning to the direction where the boy ran off to. Looks like I've got no choice but to chase after them and returns the wallet to the boy. I don't want to admit it, but I kind of want to see the h/c haired girl again. What was her name again? Oh right...

Y/N P.O.V

I'm sitting on the couch inside the office. I just read a book Nii-Chan gave me. Since he saw how pouty I was being when I didn't get to read his books. He's really sweet, even though we're not related by blood. He treats me like I'm actually his sister.

The lift makes a ding sound. I turn my head as the door opens. Hanasaki is there, along with Kobayashi. I blink my eyes in surprise at the sight of the white haired boy.

"Who's this guy with you, Hanasaki?" Nii-Chan said. Hanasaki grins at his question. "This is Kobayashi. I brought him here so you can recruit him" he said. I can see Nii-Chan's questioning gaze.

"And why should I?" He asked. Hanasaki walks up to him and places his hands on the table. "I'm telling you, Sensei! He can be a great help to our club! He have this awesome power!" He said. He proceed to tell Nii-Chan what Kobayashi can do. I turn my head to look at Kobayashi. I notice a scratch in his hand.

"Hey, you're hurt!" I said. I try to come closer to him and flinch when the force appears. I wince when my hand gets cut. Good thing I didn't activate my other power, or Kobayashi would get even more hurt. I've learned how to control my power over time. So I can choose when I use the reverse effect.

Hanasaki notices what happened and rushes to me. "Are you okay, Y/N??" He asked, grabbing onto my hand to check the wound. His eyes widened slightly when the wound in my hand starts to heal at a rapid speed.

"W-Wow... y-you..." he stuttered out, turning to look at me with a shocked expression. I quickly moves my hand from his grip, hiding it behind my back. I keep my gaze on the floor.

"That was awesome!! Why didn't you tell me you've got power too? What else can you do??" He asked, in an excited tone. I turn to look at him with a surprise expression. I genuinely thought he's going to react as if I'm a freak. But this is the complete opposite.

"Are you born with it??" He asked again. I hear a loud bang and jumps at the sound. I turn my head to see Nii-Chan with his fist on the desk, letting me know that the loud sound is coming from him.

"Stop pestering her, Hanasaki! You're making her uncomfortable!" He said. Hanasaki just pouted while crossing his arms across his chest. I just let out a soft nervous laugh.

"It's fine, Nii-Chan" I said, trying to calm him down. I turn to look at Hanasaki and smiles softly. "Yeah... I was born with it. I just learned about it when I was about 5 years old... but I guess I've always had it, just didn't quite aware about what I can do..." I said. His eyes glimmered in excitement at my words.

"That's SO cool!" He said, fisting his hands in front of him. I just sweat-dropped at what he said. I glance at Kobayashi from the corner of my eyes. He is just standing where he is, staring at me. He quickly looks away when he realize I've caught him staring. I can see faint blush in his cheeks.

Hanasaki clears his throat and turns to look at Nii-Chan. "Soo, Sensei! Can we accept him in our club?" He asked. Nii-Chan glances at Kobayashi who just stares back at him, not saying anything.

"Fine... I'll give him a chance..." he said. Hanasaki starts to grin widely at Nii-Chan's words. "Yess!!" He cheered happily. I just smile softly at his excitement. I turn to look at Kobayashi and smiles at him.

"Welcome to the club, Kobayashi-San..." I said. He turn to look at me. "No need to address me with an honorifics... just call me Kobayashi..." he said, in a quiet tone. I blink my eyes in surprise at his request. I just hum and nod my head.

"Alright, Kobayashi" I said, smiling softly at him. He just stares at me in the eyes. I notice the small corner of his lips twitching up slightly. He seem like he's not used to have people acting kindly towards him. He's just like me, before I meet Nii-Chan and Hanasaki.

I notice something flying into the room. I turn my head to see an owl. The owl stares at me for a few seconds and flies towards me. I stand still as the owl lands on my shoulder.

"Eh?" I said. She starts snuggling her face into mine. The others just stares at me in surprise. It took me a while, before realizing. My eyes widened in shock as I realize who's this owl is.

"It's you!!" I said. She makes a happy sound. I smile softly and gently pat her head. "Question... how did you know this owl?" Hanasaki asked. I turn to look at him and smiles.

"I found this owl when it was a baby. She was hurt, nearly died. I cured her with my healing ability... and brought her back to health. I'm so happy to see you again. You've grown so big" I said, still caressing the owl's head. She let out a happy hoot, which makes me giggle softly.

"So you know Pippo-Chan?" Someone said, making me jump. I look around in confusion. There's no girl aside from me in this room. So, who was that?

Hanasaki let out a chuckle at my reaction. "Oh, that was just Noro. Check the owl's neck..." he said. I just do as told and notice a small camera attached to the owl's collar.

"Hello! My name's Noro. I heard so much about you from Hanasaki, Y/N-Chan!" She said. I just smile at the camera. "It's nice to meet you too, Noro-Chan..." I said.

"Aweee!!! You're sooo cute!!! We're going to be the bestest friend!" She said. I just blink my eyes at the sound of her energetic voice. Eventually, I start to smile softly.

"That would be nice, Noro-Chan..." I said. I can hear a giggle coming from the camera's speaker, making me close my eyes as I keep smiling. Pippo flies to a couch and perch there.

I turn to look at Kobayashi as Nii-Chan gestures him to come closer. "Here... now that you're part of this club, you're going to need this" he said. Kobayashi take the badge from the table and stares at it.

"What's this?" He asked. I walk up to him and smiles softly. "This is your badge. A symbol to show that you are a part of the Boy Detectives' Club. Welcome to the club, Kobayashi~" I said. He stares at me for a few seconds and looks away with a 'tch.' I notice a faint blush appear on his cheeks again. I just let out a giggle. We have a new member to the club now. I look forward to work alongside him. This is going to be interesting~
