Third Person's POV
Tabitha Greene has been an educator for 20 years, and has seen a lot of fights since, especially when she started teaching middle and high school. However, she had never seen a student beat up another student so badly before. Jason had beaten Demetrius to the point of him being damn near unrecognizable. And what made it even scarier, he didn't seem to look too remorseful in shape, form or fashion.
He was sitting in the chair across from her desk stone faced, with his leg bouncing. He didn't say one word after the fight was broken up, or when he was following her towards the office. "Jason..." She speaks her students name softly, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Ma'am?" He answers in a somewhat sheepish tone.
"What happened baby?' Tabitha asks Jason. She was being soft, but she couldn't help it. Jason has been one of her sweetest students since the day he started, and has *never* given her any type of trouble whatsoever. That's why she liked him for Tiana. She's known the girl since she was 12 when the girl was in her English class, but she became the principal at this school. She was happy to have one of her favorite students again. Tiana was painfully shy and Tabitha could tell that she had some self esteem issues. However, ever since she's started seeing Jason, Tiana's seems to have come out of her shell.
"I told him that if he didn't leave Tiana alone, or I'd break his jaw. He fucked around and found out." Jason shrugs his shoulders.
"Okay first off, don't be cussing when you talk to me. I'm not one of yo little friends Mr. Dellucci." Tabitha corrects him with a stern tone. "Second. You did a lot more than break his jaw Jason. That boy is gonna need minor surgery at the very least Jason. Do you know how serious this is? You can end up getting charges pressed against you."
'Yeah right.' Jason scoffs to himself. His uncle is more than likely finding a way to pay off the family right now so that won't even think about the involving the legal system, but he wouldn't dare say that to Mrs. Greene cause she scares him.
"I'm sorry Mrs. Greene." He apologizes, holding his head down in shame.
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." The seasoned educator deadpans him.
"I'm not gonna say sorry for hitting him, Mrs. Greene." Jason says with conviction.
"Little boy, you gonna get enough of telling me what you're *not* going to do," Mrs.Greene gives Jason the classic "keep playing with me" look. "Do you understand me?
"Yes ma'am" Jason holds his head down sheepishly. "I'm sorry."
"Mm." Mrs. Greene hums, before continuing with her scolding. "Now the one that you need to be apologizing to is Tiana. That girl has enough problems and your little temper doesn't need to be one of them. Demetrius was wrong, but that was over kill and you know it."
"Yes ma'am." Jason repeats, feeling very ashamed of himself. He could give less of a fuck about the damage he did to Demetrius, but he definitely felt awful for not only scarring Tiana, but for any burdens this fight would cost her.
'You've gotta get your temper in check, or it'll burn everyone around you.' His grandfather's echo in his head. Jason was always a hothead, even as a kid. Most of the time it wasn't a problem due to his loner nature, but once you pushed a certain button, it was like a switch going off. He went from calm to livid in seconds. He started to get better once he moved to Atlanta, and his Uncle started training him to take over when his father retires. A good leader has a good temper, they say.
However, today was one of those days that someone pushed the wrong button. He kept letting the boy get over, and he took his mercy for granted. He was tired of the guy constantly harassing and bullying Tiana. At first, Jason was trying to do what Tiana said and just ignore him. He knew she was right when she said that retaliation would only cause more harm than good but, Demetrius just couldn't let the lying beast rest. He wanted a reaction, and Jason gave him one.
