The Titan Siblings (The Owl house AU)

Chapter 4

It was a peaceful morning on the Boiling Isles, that morning Eda woke up on the sofa in the living room. At first, Eda couldn't remember why she fell asleep where, but it all came back to her when she turned and saw the two little titans still asleep on the couch next to her. Worried for the bigger one's health Eda bent down so her head was right above their chest to see if it pulled through the night. To her relief, there was a steady heartbeat and their breathing was even.

"That's good news," Eda said as she straightened up and away from the titan, but before she could do anything else the little titan opened its eyes, jumped up, and tackled Eda's face. "Weh!" shouted the titan as it scratched and banged on Eda's head, while Eda was trying to pull the little attacker away from her face with both of her hands pulling on the titan's dark brown fur. During Eda's attempts to pull her attacker off, she got up from the sofa and stumbled around the living room bumping into the walls.

"Everything ok in here," said Hooty as he swung the door open only to see the little demon hugging Eda's face. "Aw, a hug party I want to join!" Hooty screamed as he stretched his neck and wrapped it around Eda's waist and stomach. After Hooty was done wrapping himself around Eda she finally managed to get the little titan off her face holding it by the scuff of its neck. "Not now Hooty!" shouted Eda as she gasped for air. "Who are you? Where am I? Why did you take me?" asked the little titan while they were trying to wiggle out of Eda's grip.

"Calm down kid I'm not going to hurt you like those coven idiots," said Eda as she used her free hand to push Hooty away. "Coven what?" the titan asked with a confused look in their eyes. "The ones that attacked you and your friend," said Eda realizing that the little titan probably didn't know what the covens system is. "My friend? 'gasp' My brother, where is my little brother!?" shouted the little titan as she frantically looked around the living room, but stopped when they saw their little brother still sleeping on the sofa. Eda followed the titan's gaze to the smaller titan that was still curled up and snoozing away as if nothing had ever happened.

Upon realizing the two titans' true connection, Eda walked over to the sofa and placed the titan next to their little brother. "Don't worry he didn't get hurt. I stopped the coven scouts, the ones that attacked you before they got the changes," said Eda as she watch the titan place a paw and their sibling's head giving them a small pat, while Hooty who was watching the whole sean peeked his head over Eda's shoulder to get a better look at the two siblings. "So, any idea what type of demon they are, 'cause I don't recognize them," Hooty said as he looked at the two siblings.

"They're not demons Hooty, they're titans," Eda said as she knelt down to be at the same level as the two young titans. "Wait, they're what!" Hooty shouted before Eda grabbed his throat and pulled him down to her level. "And if you tell anyone even by accident, I will chop you up with an axe and use you for firewood," Eda said as she gave Hooty the deadliest glare she could. "I doubt anyone would believe me hoot," squeaked Hooty who was having a hard time talking with Eda's hand squeezing his throat.

After hearing Hooty's answer Eda let go of his throat and returned her gaze back to the two titans. "I'm Eda and this annoying parasite is Hooty," Eda said as she gestures to herself and Hooty. "What are your names hoot?" asked Hooty as he stretched his neck to be face-to-face with the little titan. "John-Luke calls me mistress and my brother master," the titan said as she turned to look at the witch and demon while keeping her hand on her brother's head. "Those are some weird names," Hooty said while tilting his head to the side before getting hit on the head by Eda.

"Those aren't their real names, but seriously what are your names," asked Eda waiting to see if the answer is the same or not. "We don't have names. John-Luke tooled us that when we got older and left the island we would have to choose a name, but I never understood why," the titan explained as she returned her gaze back to her sleeping brother. "Will you see we name things and others so that when we're talking to someone they know who or what we're talking about so that no one gets confused," explained Eda hoping that she gave the right answer.
