When Willow calmed down enough to let go of Luz she happily took the booted flower bush and together the two friends made their way out of the ally, but not before Willow rapped the top half with an old rag to protect it until she got home. Once out of the ally Willow started looking around to find someone, and after about a minute or two she spotted two familiar figures talking to a stand-keeper who was selling fruits and veggies. "Dad! Papa!" called Willow as she jogged towards the two men. "Willow," said one of the men with brown skin, a tuff of dark brown hair, purple eyes, and a beard as he turned to face Willow.

After the small jog, Willow was right in front of the two men and that's when the other one, a man with light skin, dark greenish-tinted hair, and dark blue eyes with rectangular glasses over them, smiled and hugged Willow. "How was your shopping?" asked the rectangular glasses man as he pulled out of the hug. "Better than I hoped it would," Willow said holding the covered plant close. "What did you buy?" the bearded man asked. "Oh, I didn't buy it. Luz grow it for me," Willow said using her thumb to point to Luz. The two men then looked to where Willow was pointing and saw the dog-like demon approaching them.

"You must be Luz. Our daughter told us a lot about you. I'm Gilbert and this is my husband, Harvey," the glasses man said as he gestured to the bearded man and extended his hand towards the demon girl. "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir," said Luz as she took Gilbert's hand and shook it. Meanwhile, Harvey looked Luz up and down only to realize that what Willow said about Luz was true; she was an unidentified demon. "Thank you, we appreciate you helping Willow with her magic control," Harvey said with a kind smile and a nod.

"You don't have to thank me. Willow's my friend I want to help her out," Luz said with a proud look in her eyes. For a while, Harvey stood there looking at Luz as if trying to read a book in an unknown language. "Willow, me and your papa still need to get a few things. Why don't you come and help me look for some of them," said Gilbert as he placed his hand on Willow's shoulder. Willow nodded before saying goodbye to Luz and then the two witches walked away and into the market. "Willow told us that your last name is Clawthorne. The same as Eda the Owl Lady," Harvey said as he watched his husband and daughter disappear into the crowd.

At first, Luz was surprised and confused as to why Mr. Harvey brought something like that up out of nowhere but then she remembered that her mom was technically a wanted criminal. "Yay, but what does that have to do with me and Willow being friends?" Luz asked as she turned to face Harvey hoping he would clarify a few things. "I just don't want my daughter to get roped into anything too... dangerous," said Harvey as he shifted his gaze to the young demon. For a while, Luz just stood there taking in what Mr. Harvey said.

"You know, I think that's what my mom hopes for every day when it comes to me and my brother," Luz said thinking about all the times she and King unintentionally gave Eda headaches and/or heart attacks. "Then why doesn't she join a coven?" Harvey asked curiously knowing that if the Owl Lady did her life and her kids' life would be easier. "I asked her that once, and she said 'A life in a cage is more painful than all the risks that come from a life of freedom' or something like that," answered Luz making Harvey go deep into thought. "But it's not like she brings us into dangerous situations on purpose. There are just some things that are out of our control," Luz said as she rubbed the back of her neck.

That reminded Harvey of the incident when Willow was younger and she lost control over her magic when she got too angry. Luckily he and Gilbert were able to calm Willow down, but they had to lock her memory of that event away. They often asked themselves what they could have done differently or what they could have done to stop it from happening again. "How does she keep you safe then?" Harvey asked wondering if he could use the same trick to keep Willow safe. "I don't know how, most of the time she lets us do what we want unless it's too dangerous or it involves her past," said Luz as she tried to think of a way to describe Eda's parenting method until one thought came to her mind.
