For Eda, it was a quick flight from the Owl house to the lawless town of Larissa, but it felt like an eternity for Luz, who was still hiding in the bag. Without any way to tell time, all Luz could do was sit and wait. Eventually, Luz felt the movement of Eda getting off her staff, indicating they'd arrived at Larissa.

In order not to draw too much attention, Eda landed on the outskirts of the town, had Owlbert hide in her hair, and headed into town on foot. Once in Larissa Eda was met with the sight of witches and demons betting on arm wrestling, trading hidden items in pouches, talking about business, and walking down the ally ways so they wouldn't be seen. Seeing all this, Eda was glad she didn't bring Luz with her because she would have enough trouble watching her own back, let alone two.

Eventually, Eda made her way to what looked like an old two-story building with part of the second floor crumbling away. Eda walked up to the building, opened the front door, and was greeted by the sight of an empty room with pieces of debris ranging from shattered glass to old furniture that was falling apart. She then made her way through the building until she came across an underground stairway. Without hesitation, Eda started to descend the stairs leading to parts unknown.

After reaching the bottom, Eda saw a big gray doorway that had a copper-green dragon's head door knocker in the center of it. She then walked up to the door and used the ring in the dragon's mouth to knock on the door. After waiting for a few minutes, the door opened up, revealing a centaur with black hair, bronze color skin, and a black horse's body. But the most noticeable feature was that his face was on his chest instead of his head.

"Welcome to the Dragon's Den. Are you here to watch, to participate, or for business?" asked the centaur as he greeted Eda. "I'm here to drop off the positions your boss ordered," Eda stated as she removed the shall from her head revealing her face. "Right this way, please," said the centaur as he stepped out of the way for Eda to enter. Eda went inside and found herself in a hallway with posters of champions that had won tournaments on both sides. The centaur then started to walk away from the door, gesturing to Eda to follow him with a wave of his hand.

As they went down the hallway, Eda began to hear shouting and cheering as well as the occasional explosion. The sounds got louder and louder as Eda and the centaur made their way further down the hallway. Eventually, the two were stopped by two metal doors at the end of the hallway. The centaur opened one of the doors for Eda, and she went inside only to find herself at the top of some bleachers surrounding a fighting pit. In the hole, Eda could see a red-haired witch fighting what looked like a yellowish-green dragon made out of fingers.

The centaur continued to lead Eda around the bleachers to a big wooden door with a witch-like being with pale skin, emerald green eyes, blond hair, and bat ears. "The boss has a visitor," the centaur said as he addressed the guard. The guard nodded in acknowledgment and opened the door behind him, allowing Eda and the centaur to enter.

Once inside, Eda saw an exquisite 20-foot squared-radius office with trophies in the form of animal skulls and weapons covering the walls. While at the end of the room, sat a big wooden desk with dragon carvings rising up on the side. Behind the desk sat an older one-eyed male witch with darker skin and a bald head. "You have a visitor, Mr. Drake," said the centaur as he dowed to the one-eyed witch. "Will will will if it isn't the Owl Lady. So what do I owe this pleasure?" the witch now none as Drake asked excitedly as he got up from the desk and walked around it. "I'm just here to drop off the potions you order Drake," Eda said as she took the bag that was slung over her shoulder and placed it in between herself and Drake.

Drake then knelt down and opened the bag to check the contents inside. "I see you have strength potions, speed potions, agility potions, and..." Drake said as he rummaged through the bag. "A weird dog of some kind," he stated as he polled Luz out of the bag by the back of her purple vest. "Luz!?" shouted Eda as she stepped back in surprise. "Hi Eda," Luz said awkwardly as she turned her head around and waved at the witch.
