When when they crowned me
I realized the passing of timeTook the golden scepter which was never really mineAll the old memories were passing me by
What an iddylic swiftness, I never even tried
So, so it goes, the waiting covers my ears
Tenderly, untill the sound disappears
So it shows, the wind is swinging the trees VigorouslyBut it has stopped to move me
Once I praise the same old king, a best friend of mineSlept on the whitest blankets at the calmest of time
Later they hold me chains and captive so I
Could not tell the world of their lies
If I'd tell youYou'd might stay here forever
So if I welcome you
We might stay here together So the crown remains, it's always been mine
I ought to wear it better, I ought to know it by now
This is a poem about a book that's still a wip. What do you think it's about??
