One of the things I love about the new version are the new characters...do you like them? Who's your favorite? 😆

🔥🔥🔥

"We really need to get up." I giggled as Lukas started kissing my neck, moving to get back on top of me. "You have classes and I have work."

"If you can still get up after the night we had," he mused, placing a lingering kiss just above my boobs, "I must have been doing it all wrong."

"I haven't slept a wink and neither have you." I let my hand rake through his hair as I took in his beautiful face, still quite unable to grasp the full depths of my luck in having someone like Lukas love me of all people.

"I only have Biology in the morning," he pecked my lips, "Leo can pass me the notes. You can call in sick." He claimed, peppering kisses all over my collarbone.

"Technically, I've been on sick leave for the past 2 weeks." I pointed out. "Fran's nice, but not stupid."

"I'm sure she'd understand." He smirked mischievously as he trailed kisses all over my chest, which caused me to giggle because he tickled me.

"Come on ..." I insisted, bringing him back up to my face. "We have all the time in the world," I smiled, caressing his cheeks, "but we can't forget about the rest."

"Do we really have to get up?" He pulled out his bottom lip, pouting exaggeratingly as he gave me his cute puppy face.

"Yep," I booped his nose, grinning. I traced the lines of his gorgeous face, my smile unfaltering. "Promise me you won't let me get in the way of your career."

"That's a difficult promise," Lukas rested his head on my chest, resorting to embracing me, so that I couldn't really move. "You're above everything and everyone." He claimed solemnly.

"No ..." I grabbed his face to make him look at me, "don't make me your absolute priority. We can't lose ourselves in each other."

"We won't." He pulled up a bit. "But that doesn't mean I won't always choose you first."

"Sometimes you won't be able to." I caressed his cheek. "You chose a demanding path, Lukas. And you'll make it, no matter what your dad says. If that means I'll have to take the backseat now and then, I will."

"Baby, come on ..."

"I mean it." I smiled at him, my heart full of joy like it never had been. It was weird, really. Until last night, my mind was nothing but an incoherent maze of thoughts and fears, yet now I saw everything clearly. "This is a pivotal semester for my career and you're just starting the first steps for yours. We won't be a hindrance to each other, I won't let that happen."

"I have no intention of holding you back," Lukas frowned, "did you think the opposite?"

"Of course, not." I shook my head lightly. "But we're in the crazy early phase. If we're not careful now, we'll lose sight of everything else." I gave him a quick kiss. "You're going to be a great doctor," I caressed his cheek, still unable to shake off my silly smile, "but you need to stay on track. I will support you, but you need to promise me you won't let me be a hindrance."

"I could say the same to you."

"The biggest mistake I made with my relationships was taking a deep blind dive, choosing one extreme or the other." I went on tracing the lines of his face. "You'll agree that we started off quite ... dramatically." I gave out a small chuckle. "But drama doesn't feed relationships, it only deteriorates them."

"If you're gonna tell me you want to write down a relationship agreement, I'm gonna have to start tickling you to death." Lukas teased, beginning to tickle my sides, which had me squirm a bit and laugh with him.
