When Akito knocked on the door, he could hear quiet music coming from the inside. Piano, if he's being specific. Not unusual for Tsukasa, he's heard; and he'd seen for himself, too. The show he'd held at that big venue once, the one that really showed him off shining and dazzling with his acting on stage, involved his piano playing as well.

What was surprising, however, is that it wasn't Tsukasa who opened the door himself, but his sister, Saki. From here, Akito could really see how alike they were. From the blond hair to her facial features, she looked exactly like he thought Tsukasa would if he was a girl. However...

It seems his sister isn't as good at faking smiles as he is.

"Hello, do you need anything? Shinonome-san, is it?" Saki asked. Akito was surprised at being recognized, until she continued. "Touya-nii-san always talks about you... and well, Onii-chan does, too."

Touya talking about him wasn't a surprise, Akito would be a hypocrite if he minded, of course. However, Tsukasa? That was new. He hopes Saki didn't think he was some sort of bully if Tsukasa had complained about him (mostly lightheartedly, he swears) picking on him.

Oh, right. He still has Rui's stupid plan to carry out. He let himself slip into his 'kind, polite' persona, hoping a good first impression would help persuade her. "Good evening, Saki-chan. I hope everything is going well. Just one thing, if it isn't a bother; I need to ask one big favor from you."

Saki flinched slightly, clearly not expecting to hear his name from him- or hear her name at all. She quickly regained her composure. "Uhm, yes! What favour do you need?"

"Leave the house."

"Eh?!"

"Leave the house." Akito repeated, like it was the most normal favour to ask a teenage girl with a brother who had just gotten out of the hospital for self-inflicted harm. "I'm sure Touya'll be happy to have you if you go over, or... I think Tsukasa-senpai mentioned your girlfriends once, no?"

"Shinonome-san..." Saki was clearly still taken aback. "I can't do that! My older brother needs help, and I should be the one to take care of him like he always did to me."

"Saki, genuinely, I can tell you're a great sister, and don't take this personally... but Tsukasa's playing the piano."

"...and?"

"Rui said he did that when he was really sad, so. Plus, you haven't realized yet? His arms, specifically his wrists, are pretty badly hurt. Letting him play is probably a bad idea at the moment. You should have stopped him." Saki's eyes widened at the realization, and she looked so disappointed in herself even Akito felt bad.

Low blow, Rui. He said to himself, as if to reconcile with himself for the way what he'd said affected Saki.
