Hypothetical Solution

There have been many years of conflict between the nations of Israel and Palestine. Most issues are related to water and territory along with access to the Holy Land of Jerusalem. With the war raging in the land distributions of resources along with the destruction to the geography and Holy sites. In order to preserve the sites, cities and lives of both populations there must be peace. To gain peace between the two nations, the United Nations will hold a peace treaty in D.C. or in Jerusalem which will be neutral sites. We should welcome the heads of NATO and United Nations. I propose a new idea that takes 5 steps which may cause some fighting but ultimately peace.

Water Distillation

There is a lack of water in the area. The will be Water Distillation Tanks located around the areas of Palestine and Israel.

The tanks will be property of the United Nations. Any act to disrupt the usage or process of the tanks shall be considered an act of war on the United Nations

The tanks will be serviced and regulated by the United Nations until a time in which the United Nations feels that the tanks are not going to be used to wage war between Palestine and Israel.

Education of all citizens

All citizens shall receive education and have access to education through the United Nations

Any Act that would infringe on any groups access to education shall be an act of War

Additionally, we have to build better facilities to give people from all backgrounds an equal opportunity the ability to

Palestine Government

Palestine has the right to create a functioning government to rule their territory

The government will have a territory and place at the United Nations and their council meetings

Additionally, they will have equal say in the Council that rules and regulates the Holy City of Jerusalem and all of the Holy Sites within that nation

Two separate states

There must be two separate nations that work together to regulate and create checks and balances.

There will be meetings held to regulate the talks between the separate parts which will be provide a criteria and meeting agenda until a time that each party can regulate the meetings themselves.

The Southern half of the land will be considered Israel and the Northern half of the Land will be Palestine. This allows both nations access to the Mediterranean Sea and trade.

Jerusalem and Holy sites become Global Religious Cities

Jerusalem and Holy Sites around the area will be controlled by a separate council compose of 4 members from all religions that consider the area to be a holy center for their religion.

The members will be composed of 2 members per nation per religion. This will allow equal chances for each religion and nation an equal voice of what happens in the city and the sites.
