Surviving generations become more precautious and often when they can afford it, take measures to prevent a similar death. More violent and public deaths create pathways for legal action and legislation. Through death, society determines the final worth of a person and how best to save surrounding people. In death, as in life, people are remembered and secure a momentary immortal legacy through storytelling, medical charts, articles, statistical data and memory sharing. Abnormal deaths are often studied longer and often given spots in ethical or medical textbooks and journals. Death is remarkably like birth as it is a normal act that many people experience every day. There is one person actively going through it, however there are a multitude of witnesses to ensure everything goes according to plan, document, and finalize.
