Walking into the room with her on my arm was like setting the sea on fire. She lit up the room and set the tone.
Her dress sparkled with a million crystals. She was draped in the night sky, a pool of constellations surrounded her, and the world was at her feet.
She was a beauty beyond words and expectations. She outshined the world.
She walked with ageless grace and stood as a mark within time. The world caught their beath as she moved into the room. Everyone stopped and stared at the starlit gown and the glowing goddess in front of them.
She was all they could envy. All they could watch. All that they could ever see. Their lines of sight flitted between the diamonds on her necklace, the diamonds dripping from her ears, and the crystals.
She was the envy of everyone but the wonder in everyone. They looked at her and wished to be her. She was the envy of the heavens and every man's mistress. Wifes new better that their husbands looked at her with shock and aww.
She was the grace beyond all understanding and even when you could not see her, you could feel her. She was more than just a beautiful face in a beautiful dress. She was a light within a dark world. A lending hand when you needed it. A guiding voice that old men listened to. A kind heart that took the pain away and helped you rest. Eyes that melted even the coldest heart.
She was everything. A lady made strong by thousands of trials. A woman made soft by a thousand songs. A mother made wise by her children. A goddess worshipped by thousands, admired by millions, and only hated by a hundred. Envy is a terrible thing, but it was something to rise above.
