Dress shopping is a nightmare normally. It is made significantly worse when it is formal dress shopping.
Gowns are either not the right color or the right fit or the right length or the right size and it becomes horrible in 10 minutes or less.
Never the least we all do it. When formal dress shopping, you magically go up anywhere between 4-10 sizes from your normal dress.
If you are blessed in any direction, finding a specialty shop or online dress shopping is the way to go but still you should go into the formal dress shop and wreak havoc on the store trying to find the perfect things that make you look like a bride. That way you know the vocab and can find what you are looking for online a lot better.
