Goodbye

Gabby's POV

Matt:How was Alexa's relationship with her mom?

Mia: Not so good. She was the reason Alexa came to our home in the first place. They never got along. Never. I remember, there was a time that Riley started worrying about Alexa and she tried to make her leave our team by moving out of LA, but Alexa just never sat a foot on her home for days, ignoring her mom's calls.

Mia's eyes move from us, to someone else. We turn our heads and we see Dom walking towards here, but our eyes move to Otis as he informs us that Will is coming. We all get up and rush over to the doctor.

Matt:How is she?

Will:She's avoided danger and she's stabillized. The only thing left, is for her to wake up, but as i said, if she doesn't want to, she won't.

Dom: Can we see her?

Will:Yeah, but only two of you.

We all look at each other, and then Matt speaks.

Matt: You two go.

He says, looking at Dom and Mia. 

Matt:She needs you.

They both nod at him and follow the doctor.

Alexa's POV

How is this possible? I remember the car crushing and then suddenly, i'm out of my body, while my body is in a coma. Before, Matt came to see me, but i wasn't very nice to him at Molly's. Why would he come see me? 

I am sitting on the floor, looking at the sleeping me, but then, Will enters the room with my two dearest friends behind him. I quickly get up and look at them. 

Will: I'll be right down the hallway.

He gets out of the room and Mia and Dom sit on two chairs next to me. 

Mia: She can hear us right?

Dom nods while looking at me.

Mia: Hey Alexa, it's me Mia...

I notice that a tear runs down her cheek and she looks at Dom, not knowing what to say. He looks at her and grabs her hand.

Mia:I just wanted to tell you, that everyone is here for you. All of us. You're not going through anything alone. Just please, wake up.

After a moment of silence, Mia gets up and runs out of the room. I lower my head and i sit on the other side of the bed, looking at Dom. He grabs my hand and looks at my hurt face and closed eyes. 

Dom: I once told you that you shouldn't let anyone upset you. And if anyone did, i would be there for you. But this time, i was the one who upset you. And that's why you couldn't count on me...

I let some more tears fall as i listen to his words.

Dom: Before you left, you asked me, why i lied about Gabe. I didn't know then, because i didn't want to know. But now, i do know. After hearing what Gabe said, before our fight, i was afraid he was right. That you would be safer without me. And i guess, he was right. I don't deserve you Alexa. You are too good for this world. So, i think, this is the last time we talk. You will wake up and you'll stay here. At Chicago. Where you're safe.

I move my head in disagreement as i can't believe what he's saying.

Alexa: No Dom, i don't want to stay here. I want to get back to LA. To you.

But of course he can't hear me so i just talk to myself. More and more tears fall as Dom gets up, kisses my forehead and leaves the room. I fall on the ground crying hoping he comes back.

Matt's POV

I am sitting on a chair in Alexa's room. Her friends, after they said their goodbyes to her, they left. They told me that if she ever wakes up, i tell her why they left and that she can't go find them. But how am i gonna do that? They are everything to her. If she finds out they left, she's gonna be demonstrated. 

I get up to go get some water, but i hear something coming from Alexa. I rush to her side, hoping she wakes up. Her hand moves a bit and her eyes slowly open. I smile and she looks at me.

Matt: Alexa?
