A Solution

Matt's POV
I'm in my bunk room in the fire station sitting on my bed looking at the video over and over again. Something's not right. The door knocks and Connie opens it.

Connie : There are two men waiting for you outside.

I frown and I get out to the hallway to get outside. I see two guys, darker skin, the one hair black the other without. They see me and walk towards me.

??? : Matt Casey?

Matt: Yes...

??? : Tej Parker. And this is Roman Pierce. Friends of Alexa's.

Matt: LA?

Tej: Yeah that's right. We heard the team is in trouble and thought we could help.

Matt: Team? How come people don't come after you?

Roman: They have focused on the people who are closer to the Torettos.

Matt:And how can you help?

Tej: Someone told me that you have a video? Maybe I can find any clue or something.

Matt: Huh, um... Come with me.

We walk in the fire station and Gabby sees us and walks towards us.

Gabby: Hey, who are these?

Matt: Oh um Gabby, this is Tej and Roman. Alexa's friends from LA. They say they can help with Alexa's situation.

Gabby: Oh, well, nice to meet you. We'd really like your help.

Roman: Nice to meet you too. Charmed.

He says as he takes Gabby's hand and kisses it. Me and Gabby both frown and we both look at him confused.

Tej: Oh, come on man. Not all girls are available in the world. And especially the cute ones. You remember what happened when you first saw Alexa, right?

Roman: How can I forget?

Matt : Yeah um... The video is this way.

We walk in my office and I show him the video. Tej sits on the bed looking at something and me, Gabby and Roman wait for a result.

Gabby: So, what happened when you first met Alexa?

Roman: Well, back then I thought she was single so I hit on her. I ended up with an almost broken hand and a fear towards Alexa.

Tej: Yeah, you should have seen how she grabbed Roman's hand and twisted it. It was hilarious.

He says as he laughs behind the screen.

After a while we hear some good news.

Tej: I got it.

We all hurry to look at the screen but we see nothing has changed.

Matt:What is it?

Tej: Somethings wrong with the video. Look at the time.

We look at the left bottom of the screen where a clock shows us the time.

Tej: Right here it says 15 seconds but we see that it stops for one second and then continues. Plus when I was analyzing it I found a glitch.

Gabby: So what does the glitch mean?

Tej: It means, that the video is fake.

He then types something on the keyboard and the place of the old video takes another one, new. He presses play and we watch the scene that this time is probably real.

Alexa: I would never hurt a good friend. We were just in the storage room, a guy walked in, I grabbed a knife to defend myself and we started fighting. Then he pushed me and I accidentally knived Herrman.

Harrods: Yeah, accidentally.

Alexa:I'm telling the truth!

Harrods: Yelling won't get us anywhere Ms. Marshall.

Martinez: Where is your team Alexa?

Alexa : How the hell would I know?

Martinez : Oh, you know.

Alexa:All I know is that I left LA months ago and my team totally forgot about me.

Martinez : You call yourselves a family and you say that they forgot you?

Harrods:What about that diary of yours?

Alexa: I don't have any diary.

Harrods: I'm pretty sure that you knew something like that would happened so I bet you and your team would be ready for anything. So, why don't you tell me that plan of yours?

Alexa: There is no plan. And I bet you know that I didn't hurt Herrman and you just look for an excuse to put us all behind the bars.

Harrods: Don't try to cover up your own mistakes.

Then, Martinez walks out the room after he shares a look with Harrods.

Harrods: You're a smart girl Alexa. And your team has caused many problems in the past. People are looking for you to kill you. You were a pain in the ass, God damn it. And now you're gonna pay.

Martinez walks in and nods to Harrods. Then two huge guys come and grab Alexa's arms. She tries to fight but they hit her head on the table.

Gabby:Oh my God... So... That agent... he lied to you?

I stay silent as I try to realize what is going on. The silent is broke with Tej standing up.

Tej: I got a copy of the video, let's go.

The two men walk out but me and Gabby go after them.

Matt: Wait, you're just gonna leave like that? Won't we go to the police?

Roman:Well, as you saw the police is lying.

Gabby: No, I'm gonna go talk to my brother. He'll find Alexa and then they can deal with the situation better.

Tej: I guess... That could help. We'll also try to track her from the cameras.

Matt:How don't you work with the cops?

Roman scoffs and Tej smiles.

Roman: We're not the kind of people who work with cops.

Tej: Yeah, we're more like... Running from them.

Tej and Roman leave the room, leaving me and Gabby in silence.
