The Monopoly Outburst

Alexa's POV

Outside is raining. Nothing to do.

Alexa: Hey guys, do you have any ideas of what to do?

Mia: Nope.

Dom: Nothing.

Brian: How about Monopoly?

Dom frowns.

Dom: How do you know we have a monopoly?

Brian: Cmon, it's under the TV.

Dom: Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that.

After a few seconds of thinking about it...

Alexa: I'm in, let's do it.

After choosing our pawns and setting up the game, we sit around the table.

A few rounds later...

Mia:Cmon! Don't do this to me! I'm your best friend.

Alexa: There's no getting out of it. You and Brian owe me 3000 dollars.

Mia: That's it! I give up!

Brian: Oh yeah? You give up?

Mia:Yeah! I owe Alexa and you owe me, so if you don't have to pay me I can't pay Alexa.

Brian:How can I pay you when I also have to pay Alexa? Oh I know, when Dom pays me back!

Dom: You see that Alexa owes me right?

Alexa: No, no! I don't owe you. You owed me too so yours and my debt have cleared. Now, pay Brian so he can pay me. Unless you pay me.

I say as I point at Dom.

Brian: No, no, I'll make it easier for you. Im out!

Alexa: No! You can't leave too! I need you, so I can make more money! Please Brian! Don't leave! Mia! You're my BFF come back!!!

Dom:Why don't you just give up?

Alexa: Give up? Oh yeah! Well that would be really easy to you right? So you could win huh?

Mia:I don't know what you guys are talking about but I'm routing for Dom. Sorry Alexa but you make me mad.

Brian:I'm routing for Dom too.

Alexa:Wait, so you choose side according to you financial problems? You people are crazy!

Dom: Will you give up now?

Alexa: Like hell I am! It's time to prove you all wrong by winning! Give me the dice! I said gimme!

I get the dice in my hands and roll.

More rounds later.

I am sitting on the couch with my hands crossed in front of my chest, while the others are putting the game back under the TV.

Mia: Cmon Alexa, stop pouting. It was just a game.

Alexa: Just a game? Yeah, you can say that. If I had someone on my side to stand by me I would have won.

Brian : And you would rub it in everyone's faces. Cmon, i know how this goes. We would be angry, you would cheer, but now, you're angry, and we cheer. It's three to one.

Dom: Cmon, don't make her angry.

Brian: Why? Will it hurt her health?

Dom: No, it will hurt yours.

Then Brian looks at me curiously but I just sharpen my eyes and give him a murderous look.

Brian: Um... Hey Mia! Wanna go somewhere, anywhere.

Brian leaves the room and Dom sits next to me.

Dom: Are you mad?

I look at Dom thinking and then I let out a sigh.

Alexa: No, but it's fun to scare Brian away.

We both laugh and then, he kisses me.
