Let's Go Home

Alexa's POV 
I open my eyes and i find myself on a hospital bed. I look around at the white walls and all the get well cards and balloons. I smile at the sight and try to sit up but i just let a groan in pain. A doctor walks in and sees me.

???: Take it easy. Your body has suffered a lot, you need to rest. 

Alexa : Who are you?

I try to say but my throat is sore.

???:Oh yeah. Will Halstead. I'm your doctor.

Alexa:Where is...

Halstead:Everyone? They're outside. They're waiting for me to give them the green light to come in. But of course not all of them. What do you say? Should i tell them to come? Are you tired?

Alexa:No, i wanna see them.

I say with a smile. 

Later, Will appears again with Mia and Dom on his tail. Once Mia sees i'm awake, she runs to hug me. Not tight, but still it's a hug.

Halstead:I would have told Matt to come too but i was informed that they had an incident and had to leave. Now i should better leave so you can chat. But hey, don't tire my patient.

Mia:Got it doc.

She says with a smile i've missed.

Once Will's gone, they both turn to me.

Mia:We were so worried. We were afraid we would never find you and that you might be dead.

Alexa: Well i guess you found me on time.

I say as i look at Dom with a small smile. 

Dom:What happened Alexa? What did Gabe want?

I look in front of me, on the horizon, remembering the time i spent there.

Alexa:I really don't wanna talk about it. Not now.

Mia: When Dom brought you back, you had fallen unconsious on the car seat. When i saw you, i freaked out.

Alexa: Ah, yeah, the car seat. It was sooo comfortable.

I say with a smile.

Alexa:By the way, how did you find me?

Dom:We saw Gabe through the cameras. He was heading towards our place. We fought for a while and he left running saying that we would never see you again. I went after him with my car and tried to stop him but he managed to escape and i lost him for a while. When i found him, he was pointing a gun to your head, so all i just did was speed up and hit him with the car. 

My mind goes back to that moment and how i felt when Gabe died. Even if i wanted to kill him myself, it felt good.

Mia:Good news is, you're gonna get out of here soon. 

Dom:Yeah, now our family is complete. We can go home.

I smile at the thought but then my mind goes to Matt.

Alexa:Matt was here before?

Dom:Yeah he was but he left.

Mia:You know Alexa, if you want to stay, you can. You know that right?

I look at Mia, thinking of what i should do but i smile and say...

Alexa:Let's go home.
