You felt the car slowly come to a stop after a while. Being blindfolded, you couldn't see anything, but you understood their cautiousness. You would be wary too if you were in their position.

"Stay here and don't move until one of us pulls you out, do you understand?" Ghost gruffed.

"Even if I wanted to move, I would probably end up face flat on the ground, but sure yeah I understand," you heard Soap's muffled snort as the two of them exited the car, and you could hear them talk about some safehouse as their voices grew quieter the further they went.

This felt different from what it was like playing the game. Who would have imagined that one day, one of their favorite fictional characters would threaten them or distrust them or whatever?

Most people would think that, if by some miracle they somehow ended up meeting their favorite characters, the character would have the same feelings towards them.

If this was a dream, then you should have been able to control it, it should feel like a blur where you won't remember what you did 5 minutes ago. But it wasn't. Whatever it was, couldn't control it. You can feel pain here. When you fall, you won't get up next to your bed, you will wake up on the ground you fell on.

About 30 minutes later, you heard someone open the back door before they grabbed your arm, ushering you to get out of the car.

"Be careful or you might hit your head" Soap warned you as you slowly stepped out of the car.

"Put your hand over my head then," you joked as you got out of the car slowly, no heads got hurt in the process. But you could hear him try to hold back his laugh.

"We will have to keep the blindfold on you until we reach the building" he was matching your steps as you walked slowly, determined not to fall and make a fool out of yourself. You heard a door open, and Soap dragged you inside before closing the door behind you.

"She looks harmless" a familiar voice echoed through the building. It was Rudolfo's.

"Do you have any room where she can stay in while also keeping an eye on her?" You recognized Ghost's voice.

"We do have a room on the second floor that can be locked, and we have hidden cameras if she plans on something. This place is a minefield after all," Rudolfo claimed, trying to scare you. But you knew it was a load of bullshit.

"Alright, to that room you go."  Ghost said as you felt him standing next to you.

"Are you going to keep me handcuffed and blindfolded while in there too?" you asked.

"That depends" he replied sarcastically.

"On what exactly?" you responded with the same energy.

Soap took hold of your arm again, and dragged you toward the stairs. When you finally reached the room, you heard some shuffling before someone took the blindfold off your head, momentarily blinding you with the sudden light.

Your eyes fell on Rudolfo's face. He was the guy who drove the car Soap and Ghost were in when they first came to Las Almas. You kept your thoughts to yourself as he opened his mouth to talk.

"You will stay here until we get back. This room will be locked. If you try something funny, we will know, and you really don't want to do that," he warned you.

"There is a bathroom over there, and here is a burner phone in case of extreme emergency." he pointed at a door behind him while handing you the phone.

"You might as well make yourself at home because we will take some time." he ended his Ted talk with that and left the room, locking the door behind him.

This place looked like it haven't been touched by humans in at least a 100 years. Dust covered what looked like it was an office table, or what you assumed was one. The bedding was so yellow and dusty, you were sure that if you jumped on it, you would breathe in the same amount of dust you would breathe in during a sandstorm.

If this was the state of the room, you didn't even want to look inside the bathroom, it probably looked like one of those bathrooms you see in horror games like silent hill or something.

The sound of an engine turning on filled your ears before an old shutter opened and closed again a few minutes later.

That meant that they went on their way. Good thing they weren't going to their death yet, you had plenty of time to think about your situation now.

First, you were overtaken by some sort of blinding light. You woke up to see yourself in an unrecognizable place that you later find out is the COD universe. Does that mean it also happened to other players as well? Did it happen to players who were playing other games too? If that was the case, weren't you supposed to spawn with other players as well?

There was no way this was a shifting process. You were sure. The process to shift was long and needed a lot of scripting and whatnot.

You felt something hit your hand as you put it inside your pockets. Bringing back the item, you were met with your phone, the screen shattered and the battery out of charge. So you couldn't use it right now. Nonetheless, it could prove useful later on, if it worked...

You knew how the game ended. Are you here to see it to the end? Or to change the end? Maybe you are here for another reason that has nothing to do with COD altogether. But then why were you transferred here instead of somewhere else? Because it was the last game you played?

After some thinking, you decided that, if by some chance you ended up on the bad side of these people, you would reveal yourself. Plus, since they were already related to the army and government, they were the closest thing you had to figuring out how this happened to you, and what should you do in order to get back.
