Monday
After Evelyn dropped Alexander off at his school and Spencer and Victoria off at their's, she made her way to the Fashion for Relief building as her driver pulled to a stop. She applied her favourite lip gloss to her lips and got out once security opened the door for her. There were crowds of people cheering as she got out of her car and there was a young girl at the front with Ivy.
Evelyn was wearing Alexander McQueen suit trousers in the colour ice pink and she paired it with a white suit jacket from his brand as well. As for he blouse she was wearing a fitted cream coloured one and she finished the look off with her favourite nude heels. Her honey blonde hair was down straight and her curtain bangs were framing her face.
Evelyn stopped by a few of the people waiting in line to chat with the duchess.
"Hi, what's your name?" Evelyn asked a young woman who looked to be in her twenties but she couldn't be sure.
"Sophie," she smiled at her.
"Where are you from?"
"London."
"Oh so you didn't have to travel far at all."
"No, thankfully. You look so beautiful and I love your outfit."
"Aww thank you," Evelyn smiled at the woman. "I love your eye makeup. It looks amazing."
"Thank you so much. These are for you," she smiled and handed her some flowers which were pink roses that were her favourite.
"They're my favourite flower. Thank you," Evelyn smiled at the young woman.
Evelyn was given multiple flowers and parcels and she gave them to her assistant, Isabella. She would definitely keep the pink roses for their home along with a few other flowers but the rest she would give away. She spotted a baby and immediately walked up to the mum and greeted her.
"Hi how are you two?" Evelyn asked the mum and her baby.
"We're good," the mum grinned at the duchess. "She's been quite excited to meet you."
"Aww. Can I hold her?" Evelyn asked Harper who nodded her head with excitement and handed her daughter to Evelyn. "What's your names?"
"My name is Harper and this is Ava," Harper said as she held her daughters hand and she gripped on her mum's finger. Ava was only seven months old.
Evelyn could hear the camera's clicking like crazy but she ignored it and focused on Harper and baby Ava who was blowing spit bubbles.
"Oh," Evelyn let out a tiny laugh. "Looks like someone is so excited she just doesn't know what to do," she said in a baby voice.
Harper laughed and brought out a spit up rag to clean her daughter but Evelyn stopped her.
"May I?"
"Yes, Ma'am," Harper agreed and handed it to her.
