THE NEXT DAY. . .

"Evelyn, come on," William let out a groan.  "We're going to be late if you don't hurry!"

"Sorry, sorry," Evelyn called and William heard what seemed like she tripped as she made a hmph noise.

"You alright up there?"

"Fine," Evelyn said a little disheveled as she appeared at the stairs with her luggage and began to carry it downstairs.  "Sorry, I tripped but I'm okay."

Zeus was staying with their friends and it was perfect since they had a dog as well.  They tried to pay their friends but they didn't take any of their money.  They did it because they genuinely wanted to help their new friends out to which the newlyweds were incredibly grateful for.

Evelyn was slowly adjusting to their new life in Wales.

While she was making some friends from the group they had over for dinner but it was a bit hard with no family there.  It did make it easier though having Zeus now.  The couple did indeed buy Grannie a corgi to which she named her Cupcake.  Evelyn thought it was very fitting since Cupcake was super sweet.  She loved The Queen's corgi's and so did William.  William particularly had a soft spot for her dog, Willow.

After William loaded the car with their luggage, their driver took off to the airport.  They were taking a private plane this time as William wanted them to have alone time and not worry about being seen from anyone.

They made it to the airport and the last ten minutes of the flight Evelyn tried to get it out of William but eventually she gave up.  He purposefully had the pilot not say where they were since he wanted to be the one to tell her.

"You really want to know where we're at?" William asked his wife with a smirk and his ocean blue eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Yes," she said excited and smiled.

"We're in Provence, France," he told her with excitement evident in his voice.

"Seriously?" She asked him shocked and he nodded his head with a smile and she got out of her chair and hugged him.  "I love you so much."

He chuckled lightly.

"I love you too, Eve," he told her back and they got in the black car that led them to their destination.

"Oh William," Evelyn let out a sigh as she stared dreamily at the chateau.  "It's beautiful.  How did you even find this place?"

"I knew we would a private place and I had looked up chateau's in Provence.  When I found this place I knew I had to book it for us."

"I love it," she told him sincerely and kissed his cheek as they walked further along.

"Good," he smiled down at her.

He thought he had done well but it never hurts to hear it from her.  He pressed the button next the gate and said who they were and were then buzzed in.  William told Evelyn that there would be fewer tourists during this time of the year which Evelyn was happy for.  The staff was waiting for the newlywed couple at the steps and Evelyn felt like she was in a Downton Abbey film which was ironic because her life would be like that now.

They got out of the car and felt the gravel beneath them.

"Bonjour," the older woman greeted them as she curtsied and shook hands with them.  "I'm Pasha.  The local host."

"I'm William and this is my wife Evelyn," William greeted her with a smile.

The couple then greeted the rest of the staff who was out there.
