"Your grandfather has been in a car accident," Jason told William and his wife on the mobile speaker that morning.
William sat up straight as he started thinking about everything that could have happened to his grandpa.
"Is he okay?" William asked.
"They are having their doctor come to Buckingham Palace and check him over. But you should know, he will have his license taken away after this. He's 97 now and not to mention two women were taken to the hospital in need of treatment."
"Bloody hell," William groaned. "I'm on my way. Thanks Jason," he told him as he hung up.
"I'm coming too," Evelyn said as she struggled slightly to get off the sofa. She was now thirty-four weeks pregnant and she had been feeling like she had cramps all morning long.
"No Eve, you need to stay here and rest. It's hard enough on you to just walk."
"I know but I just want to make sure he's okay," just then her hand went to her stomach on a spot that hurt. She let out a groan as she closed her eyes and this alerted her husband as he came rushing to her side and rubbed her back.
"What's wrong?" He asked in concern.
Harry and Meghan were also notified about Prince Philip's condition as well as Evelyn. They had been married for four months now and were basking in the honeymoon phase and that meant they didn't let anyone burst their happiness. Evelyn hadn't had much contact with them since Harry showed up at their home and yelled at her. She wasn't even sure if she wanted them to come to the hospital. Harry hadn't even tried coming to her or even calling her to apologize for the awful things he said to her.
"It's too soon," Evelyn shook her head as tears were now streaming down her face.
"We knew that with your condition that you probably wouldn't be able to deliver to full term," William tried to calm her down, knowing that the stress wasn't good for the baby either. "It's going to be okay, Eve."
"Okay," Evelyn nodded her head as he placed a sweet, swift kiss to her forehead before he helped her walk to their car.
Evelyn sent a message to The Queen's private secretary as she wanted to make sure The Prince was okay whilst they were on their way to the hospital. She sat on the left side whilst William drove them. They had their hospital bag in the back seat along with a new car seat installed for their baby girl.
