It felt like they were going even faster this time. Or maybe it was Elena's adrenal glands started producing adrenaline out of horror. The wind fluttered her hair, cold air rushed into her face, and she hid behind the back of the mad rider. Andrew was tense - she could feel it even through his clothes. As if she was holding on not to a living person, but to a wild animal that was preparing to attack.

The motorcycle slowed down about fifteen minutes later.

Andrew abruptly threw off the woman's arms and dashed toward a small cafe. The girl quickly followed, but only had time to shriek when the sound of the first thud resounded down the street. Ledger's fist crashed into the face of her opponent. She recognized the second guy, too. He also studied at her student. He had only been to class once, so she didn't remember his last name, but it seemed that the slacker was just about to leave when Andrew pulled him away from the car.

The girl pressed her hand to her mouth in horror as she watched as that other one struck Andrew in the jaw. A second later he was kicked in the face, elbowed in the back, and fell to his knees. Oh, dear God. Elena began frantically looking around for the police, but other than the other guy's friend, there was no one there. It was evening, the weather was nasty, everyone preferred to stay home at this hour. There was no help. She couldn't have rushed out to break them up by herself. They would have killed her without even noticing.

The guys looked like two beasts. They fell to the ground, and Andrew, being on top, methodically struck Cahlon in the face.

Elena called both of them, trying to shout at the dumb idiots, but they didn't hear. It was as if two psychopaths had clashed. She glanced to her right and saw the other's friend take a bat out of the trunk. Her heart thundered. The guy's intentions were written all over his face - he certainly wasn't going to chase the flies away from them. Huge, tall, and tough as a rock. He could kill with one punch.

What should she do? It seemed that rational thinking had been left at home today, since Elena had been doing things worthy of the Most Ridiculous and Dangerous Stupidity Award for the past hour.

Barely breaking her legs on the wet ground, she rushed toward the bully.

"Don't you dare" She growled, as she thought threateningly, but he only gave her a rough shove. So much so that the girl nearly fell over.

Andrew was torn by a powerful hatred. His fists ached and his ribs ached because Cash had managed to put his fist in his kidneys, but Ledger paid no attention to anything. His state of affect had robbed him of all his senses.

He looked up just as the other freak raised his bat over him. A split second more, and the bat would have said "hello" to his temple, but at that moment Elena jumped right out in front of the jerk and sprayed some crap in his face. The thug wheezed, clutching his eyes, and dropped the bat.

Andrew was so taken aback by her action that he missed the punch and got hit in the jaw by Matthew. Fucking hell. Colored spots exploded in front of his eyes.

Grabbing Cahlon by the pecs, he slammed his head to the ground with force, but the guy laughed. Hysterically, like he was being tickled instead of beaten off his insides.

"I think I've found your weak spot, Ledger" A nasty laughing voice penetrated Andrew's eardrums. - You care so much for your friend, don't you?

In response, Andrew punched him in the jaw.

"You bastard! Did you set his house on fire? " He shook Cahlon by the collar of his jacket. "You, I ask? "

"Well, I did," he laughed again. "And now what? How do you prove it? Tell your friend to get off Mia, or I can do worse".

"You jerk" Andrew said through gritted teeth, and was about to hit the asshole again, when Elena, with all her fractured sternness in her voice, shouted:

"Stop it! Stop it, both of you!"

Cahlon was only now paying attention to her. He turned his swollen eyes to the teacher and squinted.

"Miss Narrell?"

The question of how she was here, he was sure to ask, but that was exactly what didn't matter now. It was necessary to unhook these two before they killed each other.

"Yes" Elena answered clearly. "Andrew, let him go".

"Stay out of this, Elena" Bellowed Ledger.

"That's enough. You won't do anything. We'll go to the police. I heard him confess to the arson. I'll be a witness. Leave it to the authorities, Andrew".

Andrew sat on top of Matt for a few more seconds, struggling with himself. Sanity slowly began to return, dispelling the anger.

Cash grinned, pushing Ledger off him, and stood up. He winced in pain - Andrew had done a good job on him. But he didn't stay in debt either. Cahlon gave the teacher a squinted look, and then limped past and got in the car. He'll deal with that later.

"Did it make you feel better? " Coldly asked Elena, watching as Andy rises from the ground and throws her a furtive look.

"What the fuck are you doing, huh? " He yelled instead of answering. "Why on earth did you go with me? You wanted to get a thrill, didn't you? Your princes don't get their hands dirty, so you decided to watch the others fight?"

Elena was taken aback by this attack. Wow. She'd just saved him from spending a few years in jail, though. Of course, given how much money his father has, the probability of spending even one night in jail is reduced to zero, but the fact itself.

"Don't you dare yell at me, Ledger" Elena shouted back, brought to the boiling point by the latest events. "Can you be guided by anything but emotion at all?"

"No, I can't! You're in the wrong place! You want people who think first and do later, go to them. I didn't ask you to come with me!"

The anger boiled up as if the burner had been turned on again and a recently cooled vat had been put on it.

He only now noticed how dilated her pupils were from shock. Her hair was disheveled, her ponytail was half disintegrated and hanging to the side, and her skirt was torn, exposing her thighs almost completely and showing off the lace elastic of her stockings. When did she tear it?

"If I didn't go, you'd be in a trunk somewhere, you empty-headed idiot"

Andrew glanced at the ground and remembered the bat. Shit, that girl really did protect him from being hit. He hadn't imagined it in the frenzy of the fight. This disheveled, heavy-breathing, perpetually pedantic teacher was not afraid to stand up to a bully and really saved him. But that didn't make it any easier.

"You're stupid!" He spat, stepping forward and grabbing Elena by the wrist. "You could have been kicked in the head yourself. What were you thinking, huh?"

Elena flinched as if she had been struck when the male's fingers made contact with her skin. His knuckles were knuckled. His nostrils flared with anger.

"The same as you! Should I have left you alone?"

"It was also a duty, wasn't it?" Ledger twisted her words in a sarcastic manner.

What a bastard. As if Elena was not a person and acted so just because she was his teacher.

"Go to hell!" Ыhe yanked her arm roughly, but Ledger didn't let go.

The lingering anger, anxiety, and excitement played tricks on them. Without realizing it, the girl lowered her eyes to the hard lips. Andrew suddenly pulled Elena toward him by the arm and dug into the red lips with a stiff kiss. He pressed her against him, and then nearly exploded when she answered and opened her mouth, letting his tongue in. The nuclear cocktail of the events and emotions of the last few hours hit their heads, sweeping away all barriers and sending a high-voltage current of uncontrollable desire through their blood vessels.
