"Elena, what are you doing?"

Elena flinched, pulling away from flipping eggs, and turned around. Andrew came up with a heavy step, a little roughly turned her to him and kissed her. Deeply and, as she thought, a little bit too hard. He let go her a few seconds later. His eyebrows were furrowed, his features sharpened.

"Good morning to you, too, Andrew. To answer your question: I'm frying us some eggs. I woke up, but you were gone. So I took a shower, then found you at the gym, but decided not to distract you. I was going to call you for breakfast in a few minutes. Is there a problem?"

Ledger exhaled, finally unclenching his fingers. He had become neurotic lately. He just never knew what to expect from this girl, and now ... He went up to his room, and there was no her, nor her things.

"No problem," He answered, watching as Elena turned to the frying pan, reduced the heat, and covered it with the lid.

She turned around and looked the guy straight in the eyes.

"Did you think I'd left? "

"Could you have left?"

It took Elena a few seconds to think about the answer.

"I could have" The serious tone might have made Andrew believe it, but the mirth in her eyes exposed the bad actress. "But I was too hungry to leave without a crumb in my stomach".

Ledger shook his head and ran his fist through his short, damp post-workout hair. What was going on with him? He hadn't been separated from her for more than a day, but he hadn't felt the urge to let go for at least for an hour. When he saw the bed was empty, he almost lost his mind. He thought Elena regretted what had happened between them. He didn't know what was going on in a woman's head. She was a woman of many moods.

"You do know that if you had left, I would have caught up with you on the bike and dragged you back by force, right?"

Elena had no doubt that was exactly what he would have done. That intemperate guy was capable of anything. But that seemed to be what she liked about him.

"Andrew," she said gravely, approaching the tense guy closely. She put her hands on his sweaty chest and looked into his eyes, which now seemed more green than brown, "I made a decision two days ago. A deliberate decision. And I don't intend to change it yet.

"Yet?"

"For now. Because I never know what you're going to do next. But these two days I've felt more genuine emotion than I've probably never felt in my entire life".

Andrew finally grinned.

"But you know that relationships between a teacher and a student are forbidden, don't you?"

"There are no rules for me" Ledger shrugged.

"But there are for me" Elena answered seriously. "We can't let anyone know about us. That would be a big problem. And I really hope that what you said about the fact that you're not going to get rid of me, is still true".

"Elena, don't worry, everything will be fine," reassured Andrew, pulling her to him by the waist. "I won't be good, but I'm not a moron to set you up either. Relax! No one would know!"

"Thank you!"

Andy squinted at the girl for a few seconds, then nodded.

"Let's start eating, I'll run to the shower".

After breakfast they had coffee. Elena asked him about how long he had been training, what he liked better, boxing or swimming, and about all sorts of things.
