Your POV

I got out of bed as Loid signaled me to sit with them for a little family meeting. I nodded before I got up from my bed.

"Father, can you give me a second? I need to change out of my uniform," I said, pointing at my uniform.

"Ah yes- WAIT- YOU HAVE 6 STELLAS??" he asked.

"W-Wow- Loid-san, your daughter is so magnificent," Yor cried out, before walking over to me and shaking my hand.

"Hi, I'm Akari Forger," I said, as Yor looked into my eyes.

"I-I am Yor,"

"And yes father, they gave me four other stellas because I got full marks on the separate exams," I said, as I looked at him.

"W-Wow, good job Akari," he replied.

"CHI-CHI AND HA-HA ARE WEIRD, THEY'RE NOT LETTING NEE-CHAN CHANGE!" Anya said, with a smirk. The two jolted at Anya as I started to laugh.

"A-ANYA-SAN!" Yor said, before running out from the room, "I-I am so sorry Akari-chan!"

Loid walked out and made sure to close the door. I changed into a comfortable hoodie and sweatpants before walking out and sitting beside Anya on the couch.

"So, Akari, as you know, this will be your new mother. She and I actually have a date later today," Loid explained, as he smiled at me.

I looked at him and cringed.

"When will you be coming back?" I asked, as I took the tea Yor had made.

"Around 12, but then right after I have a night shift at the hospital," he said, as Yor nodded.

"Okay,"

"How was your day in school?" he asked.

"Well, it was okay I guess. I have a project I have to do with some classmates. Can I go to their house tomorrow?" I asked.

"Of course, How long will you stay?" Loid asked.

"I don't know, I guess I'll have to let you know tomorrow once I learn more information," I said.

"WOW AKARI-CHAN!" Yor said, "I'll make sure to cover up anything you need."

Anya accidently dropped a newspaper on the ground. Loid looked down and picked it up.

"Oh wow, looks like a bunch of refugees finally found a safe home in Ostania," Loid said, while smiling.

"Where will they stay?" Yor asked, curioused.

"Um, an Orphanage center," he replied.

A few hours passed, and the two couples left the house. I was busy finishing some math and history work and taking notes for an upcoming Science exam. Seriously, it was my first day and they're already giving me this much work. Such a hassle, I wish I could just lay down and do nothing, like how the waves peacefully sway through the water.

Anya came knocking at my door. I looked at her with my tired eyes.

"N-Nee-chan, can I sleep with you today," Anya asked, as a tear slipped. I looked at her, and gently waved at her and motioned her way to come to my bed.

"Of course you can," I said. I felt like I wanted to tell her something, like a sudden urge. But for some reason, my mouth thought otherwise.

I finally realized the lightning that was struck outside, and comprehended the fact that Anya must have been scared because of it. She covered her ears and whimpered underneath my blanket. I looked at her, like a scared little bug.
