FIRST PERSON POV

I had gotten up from a quick nap, when i looked up at the time. It was almost time to go and meet Unknown. I slowly got up from my laying position to go and get ready for the meeting. As I looked through my closet thoroughly, my mind wouldn't stop overthinking about the different possiblities that could happen if Unknown did find out I had powers all along. What could he do with my powers?

As these questions rang in my head, like a constant reminder something bad was going to happen, I had finally chosen out what I should wear. Quickly, I changed into the clothes and took a quick snack before jumping out of the window and stealthily leaving the house without any sounds. I was debating on what would happen if I didn't show up at all, but something tells me it would be better to not get on Unknown's bad side.

As I continued to walk down the quiet, and empty streets I felt anxious. Was is because someone other then Perpetual knew about my powers? Or maybe because Unknown had always been intimidating. I just sighed, and continued to walk. When I finally made it to the park, I had seen the same tall figure, covered in black clothing and a mask. No one had ever seen Unknown, and now that I think about it, I have seen Perpetual.

"Greetings, Number three. It didn't take you as long as I had anticipated, the rumors are true. Always on time to get the job dealt with," his deep, and dark voice sent shivers down my spine. No wonder he was number one.

"Yes, you summoned me. Is there anything you need? You don't usually call for one on one meetings, and actually, I don't think I've ever heard you call in for one on one meetings," I replied, trying to keep calm.

He chuckled, which surprised me, "You know I never thought that a 15 year old would become PUZZLE'S number three, it does surprise me."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, kind of annoyed but also sort of getting his point of view.

"I always wondered how you got to number three, was it out of pure luck, or talent? I mean, there are people within this organization who are 30 or even 40 who've been working in PUZZLE for who knows how long, and a mere 15 year old shot up the ranks like that? Honestly, if you ask me, hard work can only get you so far. Am I right?" he spoke calmly, there was no life behind his words, which made it even more horrifying. To put into perspective, within the few years I've been working for PUZZLE, that's the most I've heard him speak in one go.

"Yes, as it may be kind of hard to believe in but I did do it with hard work. But I see your point of view-" I tried to speak before I was cut off by him.

"Or maybe you have something else you're hiding from us?" he shot back, before grabbing his dagger and coming in for the attack. What?? What was he doing?? Why was he attacking me??

I quickly took a few steps back, and grabbed onto a pole that just so happened to be near me. I picked it up, and tried to counter his attacks.

"No use, you'll have to be quicker dear," he said, as he picked up his speed. I was shocked, it was much faster then I could even see.

I need to create some distance. I thought, as I moved back. What was Unknown trying to acheive through this brawl, I tried to figure it out, before he shot the dagger right at me at lightning. Quickly, I moved my head, if I had been mere milliseconds to late, I would have a dagger right through my skull.

"What the hell are you doing???" I yelled at him, fear and fraustration lacing mt voice as I continued to dodge his attacks. But he didn't reply, instead he grabbed onto his sword and came running at me with his same speed. This was even faster then Perpetual, it was almost inhumane.

I looked at him, my feet couldn't move. I felt the same feeling I felt when I was tied up back at the abandoned building Perpetual had brought me at. But no, this was even worse. Perpetual may have been evil, but I just feel pure malice through Unknown. I felt my heart beating and lightning speed, and my thoughts covering up my mind, my breathing got ragged before I stared at Unknown.
