AKARI POV.

A few weeks have passed, and life has been going smoothly. Classes have consumed half my day and energy, and I have been hanging out with the rest of my friends in my free time. I also have been spending some of my free time with my family as well, and I haven't had many missions as of late. Recently, my training with Unknown has been continuing to presume, and without any surprise; he is able to defeat me with ease.

I find myself more relaxed these days, as I try to embrace my life as a normal teenager, leading a normal life as a teenager. The mini missions that are assigned to me usually only take me a few hours to complete.

However, as I continue my double life of student and detective, the same question keeps on arising. Why am I still doing this? I mean, I'm not struggling to make ends meet now that I have Loid and Yor, and have finally accepted them. Nor do I need to continue on, since there are more capable people within PUZZLE. Plus, I have enough experience to protect myself and Anya. So, really, why am I doing this?

"Nee-chan, I'm bored! I want to go out!" Anya snapped me out of my thoughts, as I flinched and looked at her.

"Geez, ever heard of knocking?" I sighed, as I got up from my lying position, and looked at her. I helped her up onto my higher-raised bed, and she stared at me with eyes of determination. I looked at her with a confused look.

"Nee-chan is having an existential crisis! I must think of something before something bad happens to her, and she can't save herself! Agent Peanut will find a way to save her!" Anya thought to herself, as she chuckled. I continued to look at her with a confused face.

"Nee-chan, I think we should go to the mall! Or maybe the movies! I'm so boreddd!!!" Anya whined, and I looked at her with an annoyed face.

"Okay, okay. Stop whining like a rat," I said, as I got up. "I don't have any homework right now, so I COULD go to the mall with you," I said as I saw Anya's face light up for a mere mili-second before I said, "But I simply am too tired too," and then she looked like she shrinked five sizes.

"BUT YOU HAVE TO GO OUT!" She whined, and fake sobbed on my bed while shaking like a little rascal.

"Who said I have to?" I rolled my eyes, as I looked at her. Geez, the amount of energy that Anya has could be enough to light up fireworks all night long no problem.. As I saw her having a tantrum, I chuckled fondly as I picked her up and placed her on my lap, "You sure are a handful sometimes aren't you?"

"Anya just wants to hang out with her big cool older sister," she had said, before a few tears slipped out. Why was she crying?? I just said I was too tired to hang out. I guess she knows my weakness is her tears. How would she even know that?

"I know, I AM pretty cool huh," I smirked, and she looked at me exasperated, as if that wasn't the reaction she was expecting out of me, "What did you think I would feel bad for you and agree to spend money on you? You've already tried that trick before you doofus, get a new one to try out."

"NEE-CHAN YOUR EVIL!!" she began to attack me, but in all seriousness, it just felt like slightly more powerful gusts of wind. It didn't hurt at all, in fact she was giving me a nice back massage, "PLEASE NEE-CHAN I'M SO BORED."

"Geez, okay fine. For a bit," I got up, and Anya smiled widely. As if she had seen a bunch of peanuts falling from the sky, or her favourite celebrity; Bondman creeping out through our door- wait no that would be creepy, "Alright let's get dressed and we can go out. Do you want any of my friends to come along with us?"

"Oh! Oh! Invite all of them Nee-chan!" she had said excitedly, and I looked at her. Why everyone? I mean, if she had said Ryan, Katashi and Emily; that would make sense since those three get along with her pretty easily. Demetrius, George, and Hakari on the other hand... Don't.
