Your POV

I returned home, as I noticed Yor and Loid were gone. I tilted my head in confusion, but then saw Franky in the room while he drank some tea, and read one of Loid's newspapers. Anya must have been sleeping, since I didn't see her watching Bondman. Franky glanced at me, as he stood up immediately. I put my backpack down.

"Oh! Akari, you're finally home. Your parents said you would be home by 8 pm... Why are you so late?" Franky asked.

"Ah, I accidently dropped something expensive from their house. So I needed to clean it up, and bought a new one with the money Loid gave me earlier," I lied, as I scratched my head and chuckled.

"Okay, I guess... Do you have any homework?" Franky asked.

"As a matter of fact, I do. I have to finish a Socials project. So I guess I can finish that-?" I said, as Franky nodded.

"Okay- are you hungry?" he asked, as I replied with no.

After that awkward conversation, I went to my room and immediately took out all my papers. I sighed as I looked at all the work.

School or the case? I thought, as I read through everything. Figuring out the case may not be safe at home, Yor or Loid could come in and see my stuff... Maybe I should...

Suddenly the doorbell rang, I was alerted. I quickly put the case stuff aside, and took out my Socials paper. I worked on the paper as there was a knock on my door.

"Uh- Akari, are you still awake?" the familiar blonde man's voice rang through the silence of the room.

"Uh, yeah I am, you can come in if you want," I said, as I quickly hid my papers in my backpack.

Loid came inside, as Yor was behind him. "Mrs. Akari!"

Yor went in for the hug, as I stiffen... Not really the hugger- or I'm just not used to it. Loid came and sat on my bed, and Yor sat beside him.

"So, how was the study session?" Loid asked.

"It was okay. I finished one of my projects, and I'm currently finishing up another one. I think I have a math test next week, and an essay I have to finish before Wednesday," I said straight-fowardly, before I looked back at my desk, and I was about to continue finishing the project I had with George.

"Ah, I see. That's nice! You must be very busy with school!" Loid said, as I nodded.

"Mrs. Akari! You're so mature! I'm very proud of you!" Yor yelped, as I chuckled and scratched the back of my neck.

"Thanks, I do have something I want to tell you guys..." I said, as I glanced at them before looking back at my desk while portraying a frown. Loid stiffened, as he looked at me with a worried look. I can't read minds obviously, but the sense I was feeling from him was scared and tense.

"What might that be?" Yor asked, naturally, not really worrying about anything, and not really getting the hint.

"I've put some thought into it... And I think I want to move into Eden College's dorms," I said aloud, pretending I was nervous.

"What- Why would you want that?" Loid jumped up and looked at me with a surprised look.

"I- Just find that sometimes I'm preoccupied with school, and I just need a space where I can only focus on school! If I stay here, then I'll have other things in mind. But if I go into Eden's dorms, then I might get a better chance to become an Imperial Scholar. Exams are in two months, and they give me a lot of assignments. I just think this is the best choice... for my future," I declared, as I looked at Loid's concerned eyes.
