Dear Garhender,
It has been quite the while since we both had an actual talk, hasn't it? I have so much to say, and so much to learn from you. We have been partners in crime for so long, and I've neglected your hard work for so long. I hear from Ryan that you've been feeling better, and slowly healing. I wanted to tell you and Ryan something once you've fully healed up, I've been meaning to tell you guys this for quite some time now, and I think that you should be one of the first people I tell.
Ever since the whole incident, I haven't been able to truly forgive you about everything that has happened to you with Perpetual. But, I hope that you will still continue to be my ally, but I also hope that one day you could also consider me a friend. If it makes you feel at any ease, I see you as one of my close friends, and I wouldn't be where I am without you.
Please let me know when you would like to chat, and go out for coffee with Ryan and I can tell you everything.
Sincerely,
Akari.
I looked over the letter, and anxiously put the letter in the envelope. This was the first time I've ever talked to Garhender in a more friendly manner, rather than in a professional manner. I gave the envelope to the owl, and he started to fly away. Sometimes I wonder what Garhender is like, what he thinks, what his voice sounds like, we've been accomplices for so long yet I don't even know what type of food he likes, or what his favourite colour is.
THIRD PERSON POV
Garhender laid upon the bed within PUZZLE headquarters. He stared out the window, he had been out of commission for a good two weeks by now, when he suddenly saw an Owl coming towards him.
Is it another mission? He thought to himself, as he watched how the Owl nestled onto his lap, and handed him the scroll of paper. It's Cruel Hero's Owl. I haven't seen it in a good while.
He opened up the letter, and began to read it. In truth, Garhender never really had someone who he could call a friend. In truth, he never wanted to join PUZZLE. While his father was still alive, he was one of the higher ups within the organization. Becoming someone important was something his father believed in, and well, he had become one of the most important figures within the organization. A picture of him was put on the Wall of Fame within the room of Honours, which was right beside the meeting room for the Elite, which is where meetings for the higher ups would be held. Such as, Unknown, Perpetual, and Cruel Hero, etc.
However, becoming someone important also meant someone needed to be your heir if something were to happen to the original owner. And that is exactly what Garhender is, just an heir for his father. However, his father had died a few years back and he knew why too much about the organization to be set free.
Although, there was always one thing that he did wonder about. What did it truly mean to become someone important?
He sent a letter back to Cruel Hero, saying that he is willing to meet up with her, of course, Cruel hero is one of the few people Garhender has learnt to trust.
AKARI POV
Classes had gone by quickly, and I was getting ready to leave classes. I had caught Demetrius looking at me every now and then. I guess he's trying to figure me out like he told me a few days before, although if anyone asked me anything about myself I wouldn't really understand either. I got ready to leave the building, when I saw a note within my locker. I opened it up, and saw that Garhender had responded to my letter.
That was quick. I thought, as I opened up the envelope, and was greeted by just one word within the letter.
Ok.
