Yor restlessly walked around in circles within the Forger apartment. It was past the usual time her daughter Akari would come home. It was exactly 4:15, whereas she would find her daughter home by 3:25. She thought that maybe it was nothing, and she didn't have to worry about anything, but then she also remembers that Akari would always let her and Loid know anything, like if she was going to the mall or to the library.
Maybe I'm just overthinking... Yor thought, as she sighed wearily.
The youngest Forger was playing with her stuffy Chimera, as she also wondered where her sister went.
"Chimera, do you think nee-san ran away?" Anya asked, while dressing the stuffy up. Chimera, being a stuffy, gave no answer, resulting in Anya talking to herself.
"Nee-san said she would never leave, she said that we would always be together through thick and thin," Anya said once again, shifting her gaze to the window where she saw a leaf making its way to the ground, and falling on to the windowsill, the girl got up and got the leaf from the windowsill, "So there's nothing to worry about, right?"
The young girl's face darkened, as she put the leaf on her stuffy, remembering a memory from back at the Experimentational Building.
BACK THEN...
No one was by my side; loneliness was something I was accustomed to. The silence ringing in the room, the smell of fresh air. The sight of everything being so clean it was reflecting off the ground. Thought, it's not like I should be complaining. I was just another experimentee within that building, nee-san went through so much more than me. She barely had time to see me, heck, even our parents. I remember her emotionless face when the scientist barged into our room, and grabbed nee-san by the wrist, dragging her to the room where the experiments went on.
She never cried, nor flinched. It was like she was emotionless, yet when she was with me, she was as bright as the sun. She was the kindest person I knew, and the kindest person I still know. When I'm still hungry from the small portions the scientist would give us, nee-san gave me her food, not caring whether she was hungry or not. Persevering through. If I cried at night because I had a nightmare, she would sing lullabies to me, waking up in the middle of the night. She told me stories, sang to me, danced with me, and made me smile.
"Nee-san, do you think we'll ever find a house, a home? I asked her one day, while she hugged me. I was crying because my experimentation had just finished.
"What is the definition of home?" she asked, as she got up and opened the window. Sure, it was rusty, but the sky was glowing with a bright blue. It was such a comfortable summer day, and the area smelt like honey.
"A place where you feel safe and comfortable?" I told her, with a curious tone. Nee-san was quiet for a little while, as the wind blew through her face. Leaves fell that day. She took a deep breath in and caught a leaf from falling off from the windowsill.
"Home is wherever I am with you..." She said, I widened my eyes. She brought the leaf to me and attempted to make a leaf-like crown with it. "I'll be with you through thick and thin, always, and when I'm with you, I'm home, Anya. I'm already happy, I'm already safe, and I'm already comfortable. Because, to me, home is you."
I remember her smiley face, and my curious mind, what could she have meant? I had so many questions, but she just laid me down and sang me a lullaby.
NEE-SAN,
You better not leave me.

YOUR POV
The setting was damp, I couldn't understand where I was. My eyes were put in a blindfold. The smell, it smelt like we were in a misty area. Had they used some type of repellent to cancel out my smelling sense? If it was, I must say, they were doing pretty well.
