Al drove home little did he know Hailee prepared something for him tonight. He was really tired and just wanted to get some rest. All he could think was soft sheets and his girlfriend 's cuddle under the blankets.
Al's POV
I got out of the car carrying my heavy sling bag. As I opened the front door I smelled my favorite dish and I knew who made it of course None other than my sweetest girl. I stood for a moment smelling the delicious aroma surrounding our house. Finally Hailee appeared from the kitchen.
"Hi love" kissing her lips softly. How I missed those soft cherry lips. She put her arms on my waist looking up at me. " How's your day went?" Hailee asked as she removed my sling bag and put it on the couch. "Well nothing's new. Stressful as before". I answered with my tired voice. She made her way to the kitchen locking our hands. There it was a beautiful table Hailee prepared for us and a platter of my favorite beef lasagna with a bottle of red wine.
"I hope this will help you loosen up" she said proudly. I hugged her while closing my eyes for seconds " It's perfect baby. I love you." I whispered and kissed her this time a little longer. Then we sat opposite to each other and started digging in the dinner she made. It was the best lasagna ever. We chatted and talked about anything that came up. Laughing and flirting with each other. I did the dishes once we were done and Hailee went upstairs to our bedroom.
Hailee's POV
I went upstairs since Al insisted he would do the dishes. I got into the bathroom and made our bed. I sat on our bed scrolling my phone while waiting for Al to come up. As soon as he entered our room he went straight to the bathroom and changed into his white t and boxer shorts. I thought he was going to bed with me but he stood at the window. Bending his arms and leaning his forehead on it. I could sense somwthing was wrong. I walked up to him and wrapped my arm behind him.
"Are you alright baby?"I asked worridly. " it's nothing love.I just feel terrible right now." He asnwered. " Maybe you just need a rest. Come on let's get to bed and cuddle." I said. " That would be great ,I actually needed that." He said back.
We went to bed and cuddle before he drifted to sleep. I still couldn't wait for our date tomorrow. I really did think Al needed a good rest who knows what might happen tomorrow night after our date right. It could get steamy.
