Always Been You (gxg) - Chapter 4

Hailee's POV

I couldn't believe what just happend but atlast I was free from Ruby. I was thankful that Y/N was there , if not , who knows what Ruby might do to me. I didn't know what to say to Y/N so I stayed quiet in the car until we reached the house.

"Come on in Hailee, " she said and opened the door for me.
"Uhm so here's the living room, the kitchen's right there and come on I'll show you your room so you can get some rest." I followed her upstairs and showed me the guest room.
"There's the bathroom , clean sheet over here and I'll just get you some clothes. I'll be right back." She said and went out the room. I sat on the bed since my legs still hurts. Y/N came back carrying some clothes and I stood up.
" Here's some of my clothes you can barrow and new sets of underwears." She handed it to me and I took it. She stared at me smiling. She didn't have to do this to me but I got nowhere to go.
"If you need anything I'll just be in my room .Okay?" She said , and before she got out of the room.....
"Y/N ? " I called and she turned around.
"Thank you for everything." I said and I gave her a smile.
" You're welcome Hailee." She replied and left the room.

I took a hot shower and changed into Y/N's clothes that she let me barrow. I sniffed it and I miss her scent. I looked at my face in the mirror and my cheeks still hurt from last night, and bruises on my arms still visible. I looked terrible then I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in," I said and Y/N opened the door.
" Here's your phone Hailee. " she gave me my phone, I thought I left it back at Ruby's place.
"I simply took it back before we left and anyone could notice it." She said.
"Thanks Y/N." I replied and she nodded.
"Goodnight Hailee, I'll just see you tomorrow." She said
"Goodnight Y/N." I replied and she closed the door.
Finally I could breathe. I know I shouldn't be here there's no reason for me to be here so tomorrow I'm gonna tell Y/N that I'm going to stay at my bestfriends house for a while even if I'm not. This was too much for Y/N. She still was so nice to me but I was a bitch to her. I'm the girl who broke her heart to be with someone else and that seemed so wrong for me being here. Even if I got nowhere to go I still have to leave , this is so unfair to her.

The next morning I made the bed and clean the room. I made my way downstairs to see Y/N. I could here sounds from the kitchen so I walked towards there. I saw Y/N making some breakfast.
"Good morning Hailee." She greeted and placing the food on the table.
"Good morning Y/N." I greeted back. She was busy preparing and I continued.
"I have to go." She stopped
"I'll be staying at my bestfriend's place Bailee Madison." I lied. Y/N walked towards me and stared into my eyes.
"I know where she lives. Okay I'll drive you there." My eyes widened and I didn't want her to know I was lying.

"No Y/N. i can just go by myself." I lowered my head. I knew she noticed I was lying.
"Hailee, I know Bailee isn't here , she is in Paris with her boyfriend I saw it on instagram and you know that. So where you could possibly be going. Don't lie to me please. I'm not gonna let you leave without a roof on your head. Stay here atleast you'll be safe here. I know you too well Hailee and I know you're not good at lying." Y/N said and tears started to fall.

" hey hey. It's okay Hailee. You don't have to be embarassed. I understand." She said holding my shoulder and I looked up at her and I could feel a lump in my throat.
"How can you still be so nice to me. I don't deserve that. "I cried. "I just don't know what to do anymore, I'm so sorry Y/N for being such a burden to you." I added.

"Shhhh don't say that , you were never a burden to me. I know were not together but we don't need that to be nice to each other right." Y/N said and she gave me a smile and suddenly she hugged me. I hugged her back and I almost wet her shoulders of my tears kept falling.
We broke out and I said. " Sorry I got you all wet ." I wiped her shoulders.
"Don't worry about that. Please stop crying. How about you stay here until you figure out your next move . But first let's have some breakfast cause it's getting cold and I'm hungry." She laughed and I smiled and nodded. We ate the breakfast she made and it was really delicious, better than my cooking.

"Hailee? Can I ask you something? " I looked up to see Y/N.
"Last night , Does Ruby really do that to you?" She asked.
"Yes, after a month being with her she started hitting me. I don't know what I did to her for treating me like that. I remembered was when she came home drunk and asking for sex but I didn't give it to her because she was drunk, I didn't want her to take advantage of me. She got mad I mean really mad. She hit me and forced me." Tears started to form in my eyes.

"I'm sorry It happened to you." Y/N held my hand
"Don't pity me , it's my fault . Maybe I deserved that." I said.
"Nobody deserves to be treated like that. You are a good person Hailee." She assured and I slightly smiled.

After that, Y/N left for work and I stayed at her home. I did some chores and arranged some things in the living room. I remember when we were still together and she visits me in my flat , she was the one who clean my room. I miss those days with her. I wanted to tell her that I'm still inlove with her but of course that's not possible anymore. Even we were together for 2 years, me and y/n never got intimate, we never had sex. We made out yes , but it never get too far. She said she wanted to do it at the right time and that's totally okay with me. That was one of things I miss about being with Y/N , she respect me.
