Stripper- Chapter 3

A Week Later

Y/N's POV

Hailee and I stopped talking. We've never seen each other again after that. I kinda missed her to be honest even though I was dissapointed with her.
One morning, I went to the coffee shop that I always go after running.
I took my order and looked for an empty seat but suddenly, I spotted Hailee. My heart skipped a beat. She looked tired and lonely. I slowly walked towards her table.

"Hey," I said and she looked at me. Her eyes were swollen red.

"Y/N?." She asked.

" I see that this is the only table with an extra chair so I thought maybe I could sit here with you. Will that be okay?" I asked carefully.

"It's a free country." She answered and I saw her she quickly folded the newspaper infront of her.

"How are you?" I asked.

"I'm okay." She blankly answered and I nodded.

We sat there for a minute until I started talking.

"Hailee, I want to tell you that I'm sorry for how I reacted." I said.

"It's alright. I wasn't expecting that you would be glad about it of course. Me as a stripper and sleep with random people doing it for a living." She shrugged with her head down.

"Uhm, I want you to know that you're very brave with what you do. I know you have your reasons." I said but she kept her head down.

" I don't want to talk about it please Y/N, You don't have any idea how embarassed I am." Hailee said and I nodded.

"I should go. You take care." I said and went out of the coffee shop.

3 Days Later

Still Y/N's POV

I just finished my final exams and I decided to go to the club where Hailee works. As I reached the building I looked for her but I didn't see her.

"Uhm hello, excuse me , is Hailee here tonight?" I asked the woman at the counter bar.

"Hailee? Oh you mean Emily." She corrected me and I almost forgot that they use stage names.

"Uh yes, Emily. Is she here?" I repeated.

"Oh I'm sorry but she quit her job since last week." The woman said.

"She quit? Do you know where she works now?" I asked.

"She said she works now at a diner. At Sue's Diner to be exact." The woman stated and I nodded.

"Oh okay. Uhm thank you so much." I said and left. I drove to Sue's diner hoping It will be her shift.

Hailee's POV

I was doing the dishes at Sue's Diner since the diner was already closed , I was called and they said someone's looking for me. I was actually rushing these pile of dishes, so who could be looking for me at this moment.
I dried my hands and fixed up my pony tail.
I walked out of the kitchen and then I saw Y/N sitting at the take-away waiting area.
She stood up as she saw me and I slowly walked towards her.

"Hi Hailee." Y/N greeted and gave me her signature smile that always melt my heart.

"Hi Y/N." I greeted back.

" I was looking for you, I went to the club and I didn't know you work here now." Y/N said.

"Yeah, I quit my job after that night we uhm you know." I said.

"I don't want to keep this any longer but Hailee I want to ask you out again on a date." Y/N said and my eyes widen in shocked.

"What?" Was all I could say.

"Hailee, I like you. When I found out about your job that night, I was disappointed and I was hurt you lied and hid things from me, really. But honestly, I don't care anymore .I don't care about that, I don't care of what you were before. I don't care how many people you slept with. All I care about is that I love you." Y/N said and I paused for a moment.Did she just say that she love me.

"Yes, Hailee I love you. I don't care if you are Emily or Hailee. All I care about is that they're still the same person that I love. All I know is that I want to be with you. i cannot promise you a smooth ride but I can assure you I will hold your hand through your ups and downs. I will always be here with you." Y/N confessed and she started to tear up and so was I.
Before I could say anything, I throw myself at her and hugged her. I cried on her shoulder as she held me tight.

We stayed for a moment until we pulled away.
I cupped her face and looked into her eyes.

"I'm really sorry Y/N. I only did that because I love you too. I was scared thay I might lose you."I cried.

"I know. I know Hailee. That's okay."Y/N said and wiped my tears.
We slowly leaned in until our lips crashed. The kiss was soft and romantic. It was a loving kiss. When we broke the kiss, I clung onto her neck and smiled at her.

"So, I want you to forget about Emily." I whispered. She slowly pulled herself away and took out her hand.

"Hi. I'm Y/N, a medical student.I'm not rich but
I love a girl named Hailee. " Y/N said smiling at me.

"I'm Hailee Steinfeld, I work as a waitress and dishwasher at Sue's Diner. I work only for 4 hours a day since I got accepted with a scholarship at the Arts School and my class will start by next month. I'm inlove with a medical student named Y/N. " I said and Y/N's widened in surprise.

"Wow really? Art School?"Asking me in surprise and I nodded. She engulfed me with a hug and twirled me around.

"I'm really proud of you. But you haven't answered my question yet." She said as she put me down.

"Of course, I want to go out with you on a date." I asnwered. We both laughed and again we sealed it with a kiss.

I was beyond happy when Y/N came. When she asked me to be her girlfriend that night on our date I never hesitated to say yes to her. She cares about me so much and respects me. They way she treated me didn't change the first time we met. We take things one step at a time and that's one thing that I love about her.
