Haile isn't famous in this story. It's an AU.

Hailee - 24 y/old, broke, stripper
Y/N - 26 y/old medical student

Both lived in New York City.

Hailee's POV

It was almost midnight and I just finished my shift at the club. I worked as a stripper. I know it's not a decent job , I tried looking for other jobs like as a waitress but I didn't have any luck so there I was working at the club. People watched me dance and swing myself around the stainless pole infront of these drunk people. There were nights when some pay me for one night stand. I didn't want to be homeless so I didn't have a choice but take the job.
I wanted to go back to college but because of financial problems I couldn't. My parents couldn't afford to send me to college so I started working.

I was walking on my way home and my mind was somewhere else so when I was crossing the road I didn't notice the car infront of me. I heard the loud horn and It stopped right before it reached me. Suddenly, a woman got out of the car and walked towards me.

"Ma'am, I'm so sorry. Are you alright?" The woman asked and I was in shocked so I couldn't answer. I stood there frozen.

"Ma'am?" She repeated.

"Oh yes... I'm okay. I'm sorry I wasn't looking at the stoplights." I answered. The woman took my arm and slowly pulled me towards the sidewalk.

"Are you sure you're alright, miss?" She asked sincerely. I just nodded. When I looked at her I felt insecure. The woman looked so great with her coat and beautiful. She looked very professional compared to me. Of course, I was wearing a short jacket and skirt. My hair still had glitters and my make up was awfully heavy.

"You should be very careful , okay?" The woman said.

"Uhm yeah, thank you for the concern." I answered. She smiled at me and went back to her car. I continued to walk until I reached my apartment. I removed my make up and cleaned my body to remove the sticky sweats. I put on a hoodie and cuddled into bed until I drifted to sleep.

The next morning, I was at a local coffee shop to grab some hot americano since it's the inly price I could afford. I sat on an empty table and started scanning through my phone to look for a new job. I felt so tired and disappointed. I palmed my face and I heard the shop bell rang. I lifted my face up and I saw the woman from last night entered the shop. She was wearing a hoodie and her forehead was sweating , obviously she had her morning run. She looked so attractive. I watched her as she took her order. She was walking towards the door when her wallet accidentally slipped out from her pocket to the floor. She left the shop, so I hurridly picked it up and ran to her.

"Uhm excuse me Ma'am." I called her. She turned around.

"Hi, uhm you drop your wallet." I said and handed her wallet.

"Oh my gosh. Thank you so much." She answered and took it from me. She checked her wallet and smiled at me.

"You're welcome." She said and I smiled back.

"Hey, I think I've seen you before." The woman started.

"Uh yeah, We kinda met last night on the road." I said and scratched the back of my head.

"Oh right. I'm so sorry about that." She said and I nodded.

"I'm Y/N by the way." She said and took her hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Hailee, nice to meet you Y/N." I answered as we shook hands.

We both stroll for a walk around and started talking. She is a medical student and graduating this year. When she asked me about myself I lied about my job. I told her that I work as a waitress in a diner. We eventually clicked and I never had a real friend when I started working as a stripper. Y/N is a really nice person and I was being unfair to her telling white lies. We exchaged numbers after and started talking.

Two weeks later

Y/N asked me out on a date and I said yes to her.

Y/N POV

When I met Hailee, something changed. My life before was kinda boring but I didn't hate it of course. Being a medical student is a tough ride for me but I felt like something was missing and when I met Hailee she added joy and color to my world.
She worked as a waitress and told me she wanted to save for her to go back to schooling. When I asked her out on a date she said yes and I was very excited.
I wanna take her tonight to a carnival since I didn't have enough money to take her to a fancy restaurant. I would make sure we're gonna have a good time and fun.

At the carnival

Y/N's POV

Me and Hailee went on a few rides, played lots of games and got her a small teddy bear. We even took pictures together. She was really enjoying it and so was I. Minutes later, we looked for a table and bench and I bought us some food. I know we got hungry after those rides. While we were eating, a guy came to us and he started to talk to Hailee and I looked at him.

"Hey Emily." The guy said to Hailee. Why would he call her , Emily.

Hailee's POV

When Y/N and I were eating a guy came to us.
"Hey Emily." The guy said. Emily is my stage name when I'm working at the bar. Shit, I started to panic and did my best to remain cool since Y/N didn't know about my real job.
The guy looked at me and smirked.

"Wow you look even better without make up on. Who's your friend?" He asked and glanced at Y/N then back to me. Shit I recognized his face. He was my customer.

"I'm sorry but my name isn't Emily. And I don't know you." I answered and glared at him. I pretended I didn't recognize him. I looked at Y/N and she looked clueless.

"Oh I thought you're Emily. My bad sorry." The guy said and walked away. I exhaled .That was close, I thought.

I quickly changed the subject and talked to Y/N. Luckily she didn't give a big deal about that.
The night went great until it was time for us to go home. I was really happy with Y/N. She made me feel like someone who isn't just for their fantasies. She made me feel someone worthy.

Y/N walked me to my apartment building. When we stopped outside the building, we bid our goodnights.

"I had a really great night Y/N. I've never laughed again like this in my life." I said and we both chuckled.

"Me too. It was amazing." Y/N said and stared at me. I wanted to kiss her but I didn't want her to get the wrong idea.

She slowly stepped closer to me and put her hands on my shoulders. She leaned in and carefully kissed my forehead. It was the best feeling ever and I feel so respected. It lingered for seconds and I closed my eyes. When she pulled away , we smiled at each other.

"Goodnight Hailee. I'll see you around." Y/N said.

"Goodnight too Y/N. Take care." I answered and I walked inside the building. I took a glance at her and she waved her hand at me. I went to my old apartment and laid down on the bed. How am I gonna tell Y/N about me working as a stripper. Will she be disgusted? I asked myself and hugged the teddy bear that Y/N got me.
