Street Night - Chapter 7 (fem reader y/n)

Hailee's POV

After the awards, Y/N drove me home. We were at her car and before I got out, she held my hand.

"Hailee, I want to ask you something." Y/N said.

"Sure, what's that?" I replied. She breathed out and I waited for her to ask me.

"Uhm.. I want to make us official. So uhm... Hailee.. will you be my girlfriend?" She asked.

"Yes Y/N, I'd love to be your girlfriend." I answered and you can see the happiness that's forming on her face.

"Really?" She said and I nodded.

"Oh my gosh, Hailee." She teared and she engulfed me with a hug.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too Y/N." I replied. Tears fell down my cheeks. I was so happy that finally I can call her mine.

Y/N's POV

When Hailee said yes to me, my heart fluttered and it was like jumping with joy. I have her and I promised I would do anything not to hurt her and I will never let her slip through my fingers.

A year later

One evening, we were at my favorite coffee shop that became our favorite spot to have a coffee and chill.
I was staring at her the whole time and I couldn't believe that I'm with the most gorgeous woman on the planet. It was late and something came up in my mind.

"Love, let's go do something after this." I said and she placed her cup down.

"Like what?" She asked.

"Come on." I took her hand and we ran outside. We stood at the middle of the road.

"Love, what are you doing?" Hailee asked giggling.

"Well, this is where our love story started right?" I said.

"Okay, so what are you gonna do? Don't tell me you're gonna be singing again." She said and I laughed.

"I won't, I promise. I want to make a memory that will mark and will last forever. Uhm will you look at that street behind you?" I said the last part just to surprise her and I was so nervous.

Hailee's POV

We were in the middle of the street and I have no idea what Y/N was doing. I noticed she was nervous.
She told me to look at the street behind me so I did what she told me but I didn't see anything just the street.

"What about it ,Love?" I asked in confused and when I turned around to look at her. There she was, kneeling infront of me. I felt nervous and I already know what she's up to.

"Hailee, Love, I love you. You made me the happiest person on planet. I could never imagine my life without you. I will not promise you that it will be a smooth ride but I promise I will hold your hands all through the journey . I will be beside you through every tear and laughter, through every pain and glory. I love you so much my love, I want to take our relationship to another level. " Y/N confessed and we were both crying. Every word she said means so much to me.

She pulled out a red box revealing a diamond ring.
"Hailee Steinfeld, will you marry me?" She asked and I nodded a million times.

"Yes Y/N, I will marry you." I answered and she gave me a huge smile. She got up and hugged me. I hugged her so tight that my tears flow down her shoulder.
She took the ring out of the box and carefully slide it on my finger. I cried and smiled at the same time. I hugged her once more and she pecked my lips.
Then she picked me up and twirled me around in the middle of the street that night. I know I made the right decision being with Y/N. She is my soulmate and everything happens for a reason , looking back to those days when she spilled on my dress, when she saved me from those men and being with me when I needed someone to cry on when I was in pain. I could never ask anyone other than Y/N.
